Who has shown any hate for supercars? Your wishlist is almost nothing but supercars. So when pointing out a few cars in it, of course they will be supercars.

You love my list. Say it! :P

Anyways, as I said typed just before, give me some credit. I can honestly see 20-25 of those cars appearing in GT5.

Yes, some of those supercars are a stretch and KY probably cares little for some, but yea. I tried.

That's the most hardlined wishful thinking I've ever seen

They were on Top Gear, so they will be in GT5! Brilliant.

I'm as hopeful as the next guy, but your conclusion is a bit silly.

Really? Is it silly to have a theory that many cars seen on Top Gear might make it to GT5's car list? (Hello LP 560-4, Hello Enzo. Hello ZR1. Hello Veyron. Hello LP 640. Hello LF-A. Hello F430. You get the idea. Enough of the silly talk.) :)

Yes, extremely.

All those cars were added because PD got the license, it has nothing to do with Top Gear.

I would like to see what would happen if Top Gear got canceled, than where would people blindly get auto advice.

The fact that PD has grabbed Top Gear lends credibility to my list. Sure, the Zenvo might be a stretch and the Vector and the Joss, but the other cars have appeared on the show and have placed a time on the test track.

I think that name is a far bigger stretch then the others. Last I checked, I'm not even sure that company even exists anymore.

Just right off the top of my head...5th Gear :P

But you're just guessing. Hoping. Top Gear has covered almost every relevant car of the past decade, especially performance cars. It would be almost impossible to add a high end car to GT, that wasn't already on Top Gear. Being on the show just isn't a factor. Really, it's contract negotiation that is the biggest hurdle.

I hope we get those cars, but having the TG track is no indication of any specific car.

Of course I am guessing. I sure as heck don't know the car list. I wish I did.

But I am glad my list has inspired some chatter in this thread. It's good.

And again, bank on 25 of those cars appearing in GT5 or else you all can Internet slap me. Or whatever you like. ;)

Two different words chief.

PS, how did this thread get so completely off topic ref wild speculation and so on?

Because they are two different words. Like "Cat" and "Television".

No, I mean why of all things, was that necessary to point out? Seeing as its not violating the AUP, I don't why is it a big deal for you.

That's the problem. It's hard enough to figure out what's confirmed or not, without people making claims like that. There are a lot of people out there who are seriously misinformed about GT, thanks to assumptions such as yours. Telling someone to 'bank' on something is meant to signify a sure thing.

I'd rather tell you now to tame your own expectations, or at least your expressions of them, rather than after the fact, when people are whining because they were sure someone, somewhere told them the Gumpert would be in.

Vector Indeed still exists. They're just no longer owned by anyone. And the last car they built was the W8 Hypercar that, if produced, would beat the ME412 in a top speed race.

Because they are two different words. You obviously meant "than" but typed "then", which means that you used the wrong spelling. Which kinda is a violation of the AUP.

Nah. You know me around here. I wouldn't mislead any soul. But I have zero problems telling anyone to bank on 25 of those babies appearing in the game. And let's be real, how many people have seen the list? As for Gumpert, I'd say there's a good chance (65-70%). There we go. Now I am absolved from any blame. ;)

I must admit, though, I can see the Spyker Allerion being in. But I can also see the Tesla Model S and Bluestar appearing in the game as well.

:indiff:

I do. We haven't had a sliver of proof. Not a whiff of a scent of a shadow of any of those cars. So, they are nothing but a 'maybe' along with every other car, of the 32,000 cars ever made, that have yet to appear in GT.

I know it's not your intention to mislead, but it happens so easily.

But, in the end, this thread is for confirmed cars (with hard proof)

I love how people hate on supercars. AHH! Get them out of GT5! We haven't even seen THAT many.

I'm not hating supercars, far from it, but I simply used it to illustrate the lack of credibility of a "possible" Premium car list which only consists of them.

I'd say at least 20 are in out of the 60 I mentioned. Might you agree?

That's not very hard to do is it? Just add some models of the current brand line up we haven't seen in any GT yet and do the same for brands which make their debut in GT.
The point of this thread is to discuss newly added or at least strongly rumoured ( by multiple credible sources ) additions, hence the words in the title which make perfectly clear this isn't a wishlist.
The rest of the cars you picked are just wishful thinking on your part and may raise false hopes for those with similar taste in cars ( which thankfully isn't mine for the most part ).
Not saying some aren't indeed welcome, but there are different threads to discuss the cars you wish for.:)

Yes, we have. There are at least a few cars in that list that have been confirmed by Kaz. We just haven't seen them yet.

Yup, and I already stated that the CR-Z, HSV and LF-A are highly likely because KY mentioned them. And the DB9R was from Famine's mouth.

I had added those for that reason. Because there's some 'meat' to them.

So does that make the rest of his list somehow more credible than the dozens of wishlists we've seen so far?

And the DB9R was from Famine's mouth.

DBR9. And fingers. And I can tell you without hesitation that the One-77 isn't in (at least not at launch).

The first part of your list is fine. The rest is idle speculation at best and a wishlist at worst. And the thread title is... We don't need this leaping around the internet like that 1,000-car GT4 list as "GTPlanet says...", though it's probably too late now.

Kaz said during that twitter conversation that the LFA and HSV-10 are being worked on now but will not be in the game at launch. Both were also mentioned many months ago as well in I believe and interview.

-CR-Z will be in GT5 and performance is accurately recreated.

-The CR-Z is a car that is really interesting once you tune it. And I’m considering buying one myself just to tune it.

-Game will simulate hybrid braking on CR-Z.

-We’re making Honda HSV now but may not be in time for GT5.

Anyone know if RUF is going to be back in GT5? I'd like to see their newer models like the new V8 and EV Targa

Corolla WRC - premium?
