^^ People are watching too much Ken Block's gymkhana videos...

Think. Let's name some Italian things.
Pizza
Ferrari's
Spaghetti
Fetucini Alfredo
Lamborghini's
ETC.!

The list goes on. Italian = Cool, and Porsche = Italian, so Porsche = Cool.
Nuff said

I'm going to let you think about that for a second.

OOOOOOOHHHHHHH. I feel so stupid. I was thinking Maserati.... Haha that's right porsche is german. Ya ok.

Only the headlights? The 996 was the first 911 which didn't share a single component with the original 911.
The 996 was completely new and replaced the 993 which was the final evolution of the original air-cooled 911 introduced in 1963.
Even the Boxer-6 was completely new since it's water-cooled after the 996 was introduced.
Every 911 since is basically an evolution of the 996 and apart from a resembling shape and basic concept has nothing in common with the original one from 1963.

I understand that, and component wise yes it was in all a new car. I was merely talking from a visual standpoint, shape and such. Nothing more.

Tension is at an all time high on GTP. November can´t come soon enough.

So many fights, so much complains...

Lighten up people, it´s not worth it!

Okay, I misunderstood then and stylingwise you're indeed correct, it's an evolutionary rather than a revolutionary shape.:)

Because that's what was currently being disscussed...

*facepalm*

Some people find Porsches boring to look at. Why is the ability of said Porsches to out-accelerate a Ford Fiesta relevant to their looks?

Read. Then type.

I suggest that the list be split into two sections. One for Premium cars, and one for vehicles ported from Gran Turismo 4. :mischievous:

The point he was trying to make was: "Diss their looks all you want, but they are still fast". There is nothing wrong with making that statement.

Except... get this... it's not relevant to how they look. Hence the question "why is that relevant?".

If you don't mind, I'm sure he'd like to answer for himself rather than have someone who thinks Porsche are Italian interpret for him.

Wow. Do you really think that comment is off topic? Whatever. The opinion is that the look doesn't matter. That is on topic. The look doesn't matter.

It would be like if the topic was "Will you be able to make out the idividual leaves on the trees in GT5" And then someone cam on and said the leaves don't matter, the trees will still look good. That's not off topic.

Likewise, if people are saying Porsches look boring, and someone says the look dosen't matter, because they are fast. That is not off topic!
