I just posted the above to direct further discussion about the pics itself into the thread where it belongs.

By the way, werent both cars already on the list? They were officially confirmed for GT5 since ages.

Wow, really? That's great, GT can always use more 'stangs! :D

That's true, but the pattern of chosen cars is odd... :nervous:

2003: American
2004: German
2005: Japanese
2006: American
2007: German
2008: Japanese
2009: American

I wonder if the pattern is ever going to change.

Yeah, it actually can use a lot more 'Stangs, especially vintage models.
They could at least put the '67 GT500 from GT2 back in (or was it the '68?).^^

Im still waiting on something official, i cant find the AM Mustang on the net.

Yup, it was a '68. That game also had the '66 Shelby GT350. In fact, there were a lot of awesome muscle cars in GT2 that should make a comeback. :grumpy:

They need the '67 GT500 and Mustang Mach1 1969.

Shant: come on, who else is consistently making top class autos besides Japan America Germany.

We are? I never knew that, woo!

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or a lack of respect for Australian cars. Internet, you know, can't hear expression.......

I think Kaz could look at the ...

Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst S

... to represent Australia

Nice car mad sound.

Also Holden could probably make a return. May be with...

ClubSport R8
Maloo R8
GTS
ClubSport R8 Tourer
Senator Signature
WM Grange

all are V8's insane.

He should put Serbian car Zastava 101 in GT5:crazy:
normal_00013.jpg

HPA Golf BI turbo('01).

Buick Special('62)

Ford mustang 302 trans-cammer('70)

Didn't kaz once say, Sema car's are permanent? As well they will be engraved in future gt's.

Did they say it would be in GT5 or just a future GT game? Unless new info has come up it isn't confirmed to make it into GT5.
Well they did say the "latest" up and comming granturismo..

It even said what car will be put in GT5.

Last night, PlayStation hosted the 7th annual Gran Turismo (GT) Awards in Las Vegas, taking place in conjunction with the 2009 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. We had some impressive entries and a fantastic turnout at the ceremony, headlined by a live performance from the The Offspring at Rain nightclub inside the Palms hotel. Kazunori Yamauchi – creator of the Gran Turismo franchise – chose a 1970 Ford Mustang from our Hot Rod category as our overall “Best in Show” vehicle, so a big congratulations to owners Todd Gartshore and Phil Koenan – get ready to see you car cruising around the virtual tracks of Gran Turismo 5!

OK, I didn't realize they said it would make GT5.

I can only assume this is as close to confirmation as we can get without seeing it in the next demo.

Plenty of time to get the car in GT5 FoolKiller. Still have around three months or more.

They could make it a dlc. It takes over 6 months to digitally model a car.

They have 5 month until game come out in Japan and even more until Eu,NA release date so car will be ready for EU, NA release date maybe even for Japan. If not in Japan will come via DCL... Same situation was with Prologue!!! But for EU will be ready for game launch date.
