GT5 Master Car List

That sure is a LOT of Lancers and Skylines.

2 American cars that I can't wait to drive:

'87 Buick GNX

'88 Camaro IROC-Z

Nice.

I'm not happy that there is not a single premium street Subaru without STI modification. I'm also suprised that many of the Japanese cars that helped shape the GT series aren't premium. Instead, an unbelievably boring car such as Mitsubishi i-MiEV '09 is premium. I would love to have interiors in cars such as Honda Prelude, Mitsubishi 3000GT, Toyota MR2, Toyota Supra Mark IV etc.

Wow, people are really having trouble figuring out the whole Race Mod thing.

The cars listed RM are cars that have a separate racing version of the car, such as those prevelant in GT3 and GT4, such as the FTO LM, S2000 LM, Altezza LM, etc. In all likelihood, the majority of cars will be able to have a racing modification applied to them.

RM list:

1. P Acura NSX RM ‘91
2. P Chevrolet Camaro Z28 RM ‘69
3. P Chevrolet Camaro SS RM ‘10
4. P Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6) RM ‘06
5. P Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6) RM ‘09
6. P Dodge Challenger R/T RM ‘70
7. P Honda CIVIC TYPE R (EK) RM ‘97
8. P Honda INTEGRA TYPE R (DC5) RM ‘04
9. P Lexus IS F RM ‘07
10. P Lotus Elise RM ‘96
11. P Lotus Elise 111R RM ‘04
12. P Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR RM ‘05
13. P Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI spec C Type RA RM ‘05
14. P Suzuki Cappuccino (EA21R) RM ‘95
15. P TVR Tuscan Speed 6 RM ‘00
16. P Volkswagen Golf IV GTI RM ‘01

And that's it.

Alright guys, I went through a picked out all of the Premium Cars. As a FYI, the RM stands for "Race Mod."

I noticed one missing. Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo that was in Prologue.

Excellent work, though. Just trying to help.

Will be very surprising if less then 2% of the cars can have race mods applied, I would guess that many more of the standards can but those have been listed as those cars are available to buy or as prizes in the race modded config.

My biggest problem with the list of cars published today:

No Chevrolet (Daewoo) Lacetti
No Suzuki Liana
No Kia Cee'D

As a fan of Top Gear, these omissions are woefully disappointing. It seems like a horrendous mistake to partner with Top Gear, include the Top Gear test track, and then leave out the Liana, Lacetti, and Cee'D. I want a piece of Jay Kay and Simon Cowell!

There should be body kit options for other cars but I'm assuming that's the list of cars which gain a new interior when Race Modded.

I think it's interesting that a LOT of the RM's on that list start as Standard OR premium models. I gots to wonder...if you have the standard version...can you RM it to the premium racing version?

Maybe you can unlock these once you complete the Top Gear challenges?

Maybe I'm reaching a bit much?:dopey:

I just noticed that the F40 on the list (GT Site and the Premium list) is listed as a Standard Car. Just a minor oversight I guess.

Anyone notice the return of the Nomad Diablo? The one that was removed from the US version of GT3. It'll be good to see it in GT5 dress. :P

Doesn't TG have some sort of exclusive deal with Forza now? Thinking maybe those cars might--MIGHT--appear there. But yeah, it would be cool to come around Gambon on two wheels like Tom Cruise...

I am the first one to notice that the X1 is not on the official car list? Or did I scroll over it?

No. The BBC made deals with both MS and Sony and Sony/PD definately got the better end of the deal:

GT5:
The Stig
Top Gear Test Track
Stig Challenges

Forza:
"The Stig's Garage" Pack - just a small car pack, nothing really special
Top Gear Compilation video
And a couple other useless things.

It is interesting to see EK Civic RM. What I think it can be the orange EK Civic we saw from some old videos (R246, TGS09 IIRC). If it is true, then what happens to Mini Cooper we saw at the same time? Maybe they were not RM model? or there is a variation of standard RM and premium RM?

I think there will be more RMs than the 16 listed. Otherwise, what's the point of having RM in. Also, there are the Body Kits, as well.

I was wondering about the Mini too, Franz, after seeing the RM Civic. Perhaps the aero addenda / bodykit option still gives us some generic wings and a number box?

I noticed a few small problems since my last post about the Mazda3 and XFR: The Vitz '07 is listed as a Standard while the '00 is Premium (assuming they're swapped around), and the wrong mkIII Supra is labeled as Premium. Hrrrm.

Eh...don't play Forza so I didn't know. Guess that leaves open the possibility of a DLC Reasonably Priced Car pack. :)

Is anyone here disappointed with the car list as much as I am? Like i'm happy with it but I wouldve expected with 6 years work to have atleast a couple more ferrari's and lamborgini's like the 360 Modena, the f355, the f50 and 2 diablos ( 1990-2001 ). I swear if they had just those 4 cars I wouldve been so much happier

Thread is miss-titled "work in progress".
So many cars to come for GT6, lots of work for the team to be getting on with.
wanted to see Nissan Juke, Nissan Leaf.
