although i am new of this forum, i am not new of gt world; i was hoping, after almost 6 years of maniacal game developing, that the car list could be quite different; in GT4 i haven't driven 90% of the cars, 'because i am not interesting in driving slow, meaningless cars; i have one of these, and i drive it every day, because i am not rich; i love fast cars and so these are the cars i WANT to drive in GT; so, making just an example, where are Ferrari FXX, F50GT, F333 '97; why, again in GT5, we have so many repetitions of the same japanese model, but not only japanese, x model year '91 '92 '93 etc. What worth over 1.000 cars, when there are only 200-300 really interesting cars? Too much delaiyng release date for what? I hope there are not more delays. Mirko
To be honest I wanted more newer model cars, specially race cars from DTM, Le Mans and road cars as well and of course my favorite cars Ferrari 599XX and FXX but we can't have everything and the game looks to be great. I did however expect the game to have fewer new cars and tacks than a second GT game on a "new" console so we will definitely see many more cars on GT6 assuming it works on the same code as GT5. We have yet heard if there will be any DLC's in the near future but seeing as companies are trying to make as much money as possible this might be guaranteed. Can't wait for the 24th.

WTF? 90´s JDM legends as 3kgt, mkiv, s14, 180sx, scooby gc8... isn´t premium? Also ,as you are saying guys, it´s a big shame don´t find an e36 or e30 in the car list..

What happened to the FPV GT and FPV F6? All aus gets are 2 commodores,a 2004 VY SS and a Monaro! Good job kaz,i`m so proud you chose 50 different variations of each skyline,mx-5,NSX and S2000 over a more diverse range of DIFFERENT cars from all over the world. Shame on you KAZ!

I'm glad we see race modified premiums as separate cars. I was looking through the list and saw 2 vettes. I'm assuming the z06 is the gt1 equivalent and the newer 09 zr1 might be the current gt2 alms car? Remember in the video we saw the race modified vette and camaro? I'm assuming that is a race modified vette livery we can choose from?

You know, looking at the Stealth F1 and SLS. I have to wonder, what kind of customization will non-RM cars have? I mean the F1 and SLS both have spoilers. Can we do that to every premium car? Will there be body kits for most, if not all Premium cars. Just a bit weird. I hope it's not only just spoilers. Because that might just limit usable race cars online to just those that can be Race Modded.

I'm not sure, but I figure we'll be able to add kits to most cars. Maybe not standards but hopefully. I don't think they would make the option of body mods to limit it to less than 10 percent of the cars in the game.

Here's hoping we will get some recent racing cars from the racing modifications option. If not this game will feel rather out-dated as far as racing cars are concerned ...

Maybe some of those hidden trophies are something like,
"obtain all cars not on car list" trophy
"obtain all Japanese hidden cars" trophy you never know.
Maybe all the stuff that has been going on is some sort of crazy marketing ploy by both PD and Sony and this would add to it for us true GT fans out there.

I guess 1000 cars isn't enough for some people. And GT has ALWAYS been heavy on the Japanese cars. Probably because PD is a Japanese company. Look at the new NFS HP: built in Europe: a lot of European cars.
Then you have Forza: US based developer, lots more American cars...including 3 CTS-Vs.

Seriously, did any software company ever utilize such strategies? I mean, two weeks before release, why throw incomplete track or car lists out there?

Oh no, not 3. Its one thing to be biased, an then there is PD bias. I rather see 50 different Mustangs (and you could totally do it and keep each Mustang more different than the 50 Skylines are between them) and more muscle cars than cars I could probably drive in real life anyways. We play games to do things we couldn't do other wise, not drive cars crappier than our real life cars.
