Is that half dome in El Capitan? I can't remember exactly...

Hardly anyone hear speaks french Charles, mostly only in Quebec but they're different lol.

I know. I've lived there. Then again, you guys have a bursary to do the Explore program at Universite Laval in QC (which I highly recommend btw).

Hmm I've found something interesting:
Watch GT PSP Intro:

And then TGS Red Bull Trailer:

In GT PSP on 0:52 we can see 2 Toyota's on snow. The same 2 cars you can see on Red Bull Trailer from TGS on 1:20. Both car are on the same position. First Celica, second GT-Four.

Don't know it's new or already discused, but I think that we can include that track from PSP to PS3 to our track list. What you think?

Interesting... very interesting!
I take they're all confirmed tracks, or tracks they've been working on.
I'll add them to my list.

What about Kashiwa? What track would that be?

EDIT: found. It's Motorsports Land Motorland.

EDIT2: I just realized that except those included in GT5P, they mostly are GT4/PSP tracks. So unfortunately this doesn't change much my list, as I already included it in a more speculative version. However, I guess that now we have a source for them.

Nobody knows.

Probably for the same reason they named Capri "Costa di Amalfi" and Assisi "Citta di Aria" ?
And "Cathedral Rocks" instead of Yosemite.

In GT4 those tracks were called by their respective names.
Now in GT5 PD suddenly lost the license?

This is very interesting. Could this be part of the final tracklist for GT5? Interestly, I spot Hong Kong (a track not liked by many people), Las Vegas (Maybe the Speedway?), and eiger short(possibly some continuity to SHIRAKAWA Akira's research on possible multiple variations of Eiger).

Las Vegas is most probably the drag strip that was in GT4.
Regarding Eiger, we know since long time ago that it's supposed to have a longer version. The rest are GT4 or GT PSP tracks.

Interesting enough, GTPSP in the game data had plenty of hidden tracks (although only some of them are playable), which might be a hint of what there will be in GT5.

Coincidentally, by assembling all the tracks I obtained until now (GT4/PSP tracks, tracks hidden in GT5 and GTPSP game data, tracks from GTPSP, tracks confirmed for GT5), my list has grown to 71 tracks, which makes totally sense.

I reccomend you to read this thread: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=122343

Wait ...those were listed on the Prologue disc all the time and nobody noticed it until now?

They're listed with no track data present.

Having looked further - the info seems to combine all Polyphony stuff from GT4 up to GT5: Prologue

Interesting that both Bugatti and Lamborghini are found in GT5P's code line. That's before either of them were confirmed to be in the series and yet no one found that info until now.

So here comes the speculative (but sourced) track list. Be warned you who want to cut and paste it, as it's in two parts (images):

tracks02b.png

Color guide

[TEMP. NAME] = Temporary name. The track name might differ in the final build.
Blue = Confirmed tracks (seen and recognized from screenshots or videos). Variations of these tracks that have not been properly confirmed (guessed or coming from anecdotal sources) are in bright red color.
Dark red = Tracks from GT4/PSP. Might appear in GT5.
Bright red = Tracks seen in videos or screenshot but not yet properly identified. They could end up being Course Maker tracks or not appear at all.
Orange = Tracks hidden in GT5P and GTPSP game data, might not appear at all.
Gray = Tracks appeared on a list of track reference material from a screenshot of a video showing briefly the monitor of a Polyphony Digital workstation. The chance of their inclusion in the game is slim.
Light gray = Tracks derived from the GT5 Prologue weather screen. Whether they will appear in the final build or not it's currently unknown.

Paris Tarmac is surely Opera and Rally is George V, because in GT4 George V was in the Special Conditions Event and has Rally banners.

Do you also happen to have a copy of GTPSP to hack for hidden tracks? :)
Or if you're able to find out if in GT5P there are track names hidden like in GTPSP (if you follow the links I previously posted) ?

Wasn't GT5 originally supposed to have bikes when it was first shown in 05.

That was just a Tech demo using a old GT4 engine with cars from GT4 and Bikes from TT all in HD, thats all. That was before GTHD and the official start of GT5.

Here are some hidden tracks from GTPSP of which only the minimap is loaded.
Notice how the Rome Circuit (old) orientation to the North is correct.
The GT2 and GT3 versions weren't oriented like that.

There's even Route 11 and Complex String too. Interesting stuff.
