I capped this from a video - London in GT5 looks way better than the Prologue version. Lighting looks so realistic

Yeah Cool it certainly does! I really hope they do real time or artificial day night for every track. The lighting is just gorgeous!

What video?

Is London on the official list or not? And the Stealth cars are more than pretty liveries, they are carbon fiber cars with upgraded performance already. Not just a nice paint job.

I'll have to find some pics online. Prologue's London looked too dark and drab, sterile.
And you never think it could be real. GT5's version makes you do double takes, because it looks so life like!

A few more. Not even photo mode pics, just replay from youtube paused!

I'm glad they still have the finnish flags there. :P

An intriguing find Curtis. Being that that is a fan trailer it might as well be footage from another game although we can't be sure.

I think that has nothing to do with GT5. Don't expect any parking lot races in this game.

2:30 what track is that coming out of the alleys in a parking lot looks mega fun

That looked like a parking garge? And it was also using the 2 Audi R8's that were drifting in the new GT5 TV commercial. Maybe a drift challenge?

Sorry, I stand corrected, it actually seems to be from GT5Prologue. Strange...
Take a look at the top of the screen, on your left side...

Ir's part of the Spec II intro I believe. Seems a bit odd to model something like that just for a few seconds of an intro movie. Perhaps we will see more of this in GT6. Who knows.

Now I checked the list and I see there is track Piazza De Campo ( Sienna ). And that one is not on official track list provided by PD.

So, was it at end really discovered by players or what ?

Can anyone who's lucky enough to have the game, confirm fog effects on some tracks (I think it was shown on Eiger in previews)?

An image of this also would be nice to see....

No. It hasn't been removed because the thread creator is banned. :)

At the moment there is no evidence of any other track besides the ones in the official list.

I'm just curious how the town of Siena, Italy feels now at the horse club, that instead of just flags being removed, the whole circuit Piazza del Campo Circuit appears to have been pulled. I remember the article of the pre-orders sales being boosted, because of the tracks presence in GT5. It's a shame to loose what looked like another fun track.

This brings up an interesting point; to ensure members get the info they need as efficiently as possible, the first post will be updated shortly to reflect what we now know due to the final retail copies making their way out. SHIRAKAWA Akira has been plenty knowledgeable about the tracks in GT5, and he's created a handy chart that will be used (as well as some plain text, for those so-inclined).

(EDIT) - First post has now been updated :)

One request: Could we see course maker locations appended to the official track list? Possibly with details as to whether certain locations allow point to point, weather etc...

No, christhedude is a race driver in real life, he said he raced in Dubai at high internal car temperatures without too many efforts, while novice B-spec drivers get tired after a just few laps on a street car at relatively low speeds.

ah alright, thx for the answer:ouch:

I think Sienna may have been a course editor location. From the GT5 videos, it looks like karts will race on a random generated tracks.

I was thinking just that!It would serve them right...

But it'd be a waste of PD's talent and work. The track is most likely on the disk, it may very well be unlocked at launch or latter - with or without the flags.
