I get 15 Venues as Special stage R5 is not in any of the vids despite there being a night track on the trailors. I can tell you now its not R5 unless the track has gone through heavy alteration.

which it probably has. I mean, it's probably going to get Day/night transitions.

Regardless of what we've seen in trailers, we know for a fact SSR5 is in the game.

I thought SSR5 was confirmed long ago by a screenshot on a Playstation magazine.
By the way, I wonder if the faster and shorter version Clubman Stage R5 will be included too.

I would have thought so, because it's just a shortened version. Would probably take then 10 minutes to put in the barriers and new roads for the variation.

But i'm hoping for SSR11... :grumpy:

Really? You've seen the whole track? Do share a link!

There seems to be a new track during some of the night portions of recent videos. The tunnel that leads to a rise upon the exit doesn't correspond with any portion of SSR5.

On Rome Circuit again.

I doubt that we will see the old version in GT5, but there's potential for it. Have a look at this animation I made by layering a screenshot from GT5 of the current version of Rome Circuit and the layouts of the old version (Yellow), the new version (Blue) and possibly Rome Night (Purple) from Google Earth (or at least the best attempt I could do in matching the images):

The scenery is already there from what it seems. However it's got too little detail and poor texture for close view. The yellow road going sideways relatively to the backstraight would go behind the buildings that can be seen in the original image.

That's the heavy alteration!

It's a mirrored image. What we see here the turn 1 kink leading into the tunnel, but from a mirrored perspective. Whoever designed that Poster then proceeded to correct the signs by mirroring them aswell. The track map is layered ontop, and displayed the lineup of the original image.

There is no way can it be the reverse tunnel entrance, because the road leading to that is straight.

I will be COMPLETELY GUTTED if they do not include Seattle in GT5.... IMHO that was the best road/street track in all GT's
Rome / Paris close runner ups...

Rome Night would'nt be the same IF it would be in the game, it would be 1:1 so...it won't be a tricky and difficult to master course at all. :guilty:

It would be great if they included the Short version of it too.

Wasn't talking about that but about:

The section described here is the underpass section of SSR5.

The tunnel in the video is far too long to be in any part of SSR5 in its current form. And this new 3D ad shows the SSR5 map, proving no big changes have been made. That tunnel has to be part of a new track...

Actually, watching it more... my guess goes with a return of SSR11. Perhaps even the original layout. It certainly gives off that vibe with the lighted trees (since it obviously can't be George V)

Paris and Seattle were in GT5P's ending credits. They'll be back for sure.

That´s what i thought as well. They wouldn´t show it unless it was part of the project.

I´m pretty sure those old tracks will be in, premium or not.

It fits in with what Yamauchi said that the final number of tracks is not "decided". By decided it looks like they already have them upscaled to HD, but just don´t know if they will throw all of them in or not.

But apparently, we are the only ones counting those tracks as 99,9% in.

What's this talk about premium and standard tracks about anyway. Is it confirmed and if so what are the confirmed advantages of premium tracks over standard tracks appart from maybe better accuracy.

It hasn't been confirmed if there are Standard and Premium tracks. This stems from the sight of of the word "Premium" on the track selection screen at E3. But there was no telling if it was referring to the cars or the track.

It said "premium" below the track. We have seen it both on La Sarthe and the Nurburgring. I am at work so I can't hunt the video right now.

you should read the whole post before comment. I know it's been seen on Le Sarthe and Nurburgring, but all the tracks at the E3 Demo also had it listed underneath the track name. In fact ALL the tracks we've seen in the demos have had the "Premium"listed underneath them. But we have yet to see a standard car in action, so we don't know what the Premium under the track name is referring to.

Not sure you understand what I just said. Someone else care to explain it differently?

Edit: I have a second to do this. Pause it at 30 seconds and look at the bottom left. It will say "premium" below the track name. It is a reference to the track. That is what I saying.

I am 99% positive we have only seen something similar on one other demo and that was at the 24 hour Nurburgring.

Right 'cause there's NO WAY it could be referring to the car which is premium.

Then I would assume that the "Standard" tracks are the old ones from previous GT games just like the cars. Like pretty much all of the PD original tracks besides HSR since we've yet to see the Originals
