I'm also going to point out that the "Premium" Le Sarthe track was on the LeMans demo which featured...1 car. So it could be that the "Premium" was there because you couldn't chose any other car, but that's probably just wishful thinking.

Why haven't we heard a single word about standard/premium tracks though? Or have we?

We haven't. I think that premium tracks will have day/night and weather. But hopefully we will get something official pretty soon.

at least...I thought I heard it from somewhere...it might have just been dreamed though. But again, if any tracks don't have Day/night transitions, it'd be the fictional tracks.

Not for me. I didn't think we would get these features anyway. So, if they are implemented on 10 or so tracks...

I'm cool with that.

SuperShouden, this is nothing personal but from reading these forums the last few weeks, it seems that on the rare occasion when you're not trying to get smart-ass with people when they are usually correct and you have no reason to, you're making false or misleading posts. Nobody has said all tracks will have day/night transitions. Find me a video where Chris Hinojosa Miranda says that and I'll take it back.

Since the excitement of the day/night news, I've had my ears pricked for infos, but so far we've only seen it on one track, and had mentions of nurburgring night. AFAIK it's not confirmed that Le Sarthe will have it even.

I don't try to get smart-assed with people. Sometimes I just get tired of the SAME crap over and over again. And I try not to make false or misleading posts, either. I could have SWORN I read that all tracks would have day/night transitions somewhere. And at least I admit when I'm wrong.

And if you think that's all I do, then you haven't read all my posts.

Same here.

But please PD, don't let there be any standard tracks. That would simply be too much. Standard cars I'm fine with, but tracks... no thanks.

If 10 or so tracks are premium, (assuming that means day/night & weather) then the remaining tracks would be standard...

Did I misread your post?

Wow, I confused myself, lol!

You're right. If premium just means day/night, then I'm fine with standard tracks, as long as they are of the same quality as the premiums.

Yeah, there is absolutely no news about it. I am not sure such thing even exists. But some time back I remember PD saying that all tracks will have day and night racing. I hope that means day and night cycles

HA! I'm not going crazy! Someone else remembers that, too. :)

Can you locate where they said that, because I don't think I'm the only one who has never heard that.

You are most certainly not.

As far as I know, it has never been said.

Day/Night has only been shown on 1 track (at E3). We have heard that there will be "Night" racing on various tracks, but Day/Night transitions, not so much...

;)

While Kaz or PD have never officially confirmed night racing on all tracks, it was 'confirmed' in the Official Playstation Magazine:
https://www.gtplanet.net/night-racing-weather-indy-cars-irl-confirmed-for-gt5/

However, the article lost some credibility though when the magazine had to make a correction to the article, saying IRL was not actually a feature of GT5:
https://www.gtplanet.net/night-racing-weather-indy-cars-irl-confirmed-for-gt5/

On a side note, OPM also confirmed that all 1000+ vehicles would have interior 'modeled cockpits' and that premium models would have 'interior damage modeling'. PD never corrected this info.

Personally, I have written off that article. But that is true they said that. Thank you for the reminder though. 👍

I don't know how much credibility they have, but some of the circuits there have been already confirmed, some appeared indirectly in the GT5P weather screen, one (Valencia) was already in GTPSP.

I've updated my list containing unconfirmed tracks (not a wishlist!).

In light gray are circuits "unconfirmed" by racesimcentral,
In gray are circuits indirectly appeared in the GT5P weather screen (exception: Special Stage R11),
In dark red are circuits appeared in GTPSP,
In green are circuits from GT4,
In blue are confirmed circuits or circuits seen in screenshots.

There would be in total 61 different circuits/tracks (so around 60 as they mention), 84 variations not counting reverse versions of fictional circuits.
The total number of locations (countries) would be 18.

Well, that is completely random.

Forgive me for being suspicious, but that seems like misinformation.

Posted a comment/reply to the article; "Your comment is awaiting moderation". Let's see what they have to say.

Even if they were trying to be smart by saying "Below is a list of concrete tracks" and not "Below is a list of concrete tracks confirmed for GT5", they would still be wrong, because for the F1 tracks at least, they're certainly not made of concrete... :P

The list is clearly fake or missing ALOT...

- No made up curcuits, r11, grand valley, r5, deep forest, etc...
- No rome curcuits... and we know they are definately in teh game (see videos and E3 people playing it and interviews), no topgear + other road tracks we know are confirmed...
- No Rally tracks in there at all and we know that they exist (see videos)

Some of the tracks look very nice (catalunya is one of my favorite ones to drive.. so many blind corners are speed.. i find it quite challenging. on F1ce), Yas Marina nice (v8's + F1 go there),

Basically, I'll treat there list with as much care as they treat Forzas perma driving aids.... i'll ignore it completely

20 tracks might refer to real world tracks, not counting the ones PD created, it might include the city circuits, wich are no real tracks aswell.

According to my counting they mentioned 20 different tracks there... + variations..

They didn't include Rome or TopGear or _____________etc..

So that needs to be added to that.. hence either than list isn't correct (likely) and/or the 20 isn't correct (very likely)
