Adding Special Stage Highway to the list brings the unique track total to 19. So it is now reasonable to say that there will indeed be more than 20 "locations" in the game. I can't wait to see the final track list.

Why 19? Aren't there more?
Some GT4 tracks have been confirmed too in the last few trailers.

Kaz said over 70 tracks. So, there's a lot of tracks still missing from the list. And it was 70 unique tracks, which implies over 70 tracks, not counting variations.

SSR11 is not confirmed.

Look at the effects video towards the end with the Zonda. That bridge and the rise is somethine only Route 11 has after driving it many times on GT3.

Edit: Take a good look at this screen I have

The road Layout isn't exactly like that portion of SSR11 though. Have a look here:

That section goes like this:

Of course it might not be. Afterall, maybe it has been rebuilt from scratch. But that bridge is uniquely Route 11. look at that photo and then at this video (at 2:10) and you'll notice its in the exact same spot:

There is not another Street circuit in GT (At least that I know of) that has that bridge situated right before that rise.

Here's another picture, abit earlier in that sequence:

Thinking more about it maybe you're right.
What is seen in the video appears to be similar SSR11 reverse. Even roadsigns match.
There have been large changes, especially in scale, however.

Sorry for the garbage quality. The track should be visible, though.

From 1:57 onward:

I think you may be onto something but I think that's not it yet.
The turn after the bridge in the GT3 vid seems longer than it is in the new trailer.
I agree the layout kinda match SSR11's but it's not 100% accurate.
Now we know that PD can change the layout of some tracks a little (see Grand Valley Speedway which was slightly different in GT1/2/3 and in GT4).
Maybe they did the same with SSR11.
Anyway we can't be sure for now.

Wouldnt be the first time PD "update" an original track, maybe this version has no Ferris wheel, which theres already too much of in GT .

More footage at reduced playing speed of what supposedly is a greatly revamped Special Stage Route 11 Reverse, for clarity. The previews look bad, but the videos are ok once they are played:

Left turn. Special Stage Highway?

End of left turn. In the original video it's seamlessly after the previous section. However by seeing what's going on, it's from a few seconds later. Weird editing.
It appears there's a right turn at the end of the video by looking at the car in front.

Hmm... Long left turn, then sudden right turn. The right turn appears to be a quick chicane, by looking at how the road illumination continues going on a straight line. Couldn't that be this section of SSR11 reverse? The scenery however looks more like the "highway" version on other video sections.

End of Special Stage Highway with toll booth area?

I think I see some clear proof that Chamonix is in. Take a look at both pictures and notice the signs:

So it appears to be yet another redone old track from a previous GT title.

I mistook it for the older version because except for falling snow, it did not graphically that impressive to me. But if it's got weather effects, I guess it must have been rebuilt got GT5.

This is still Chamonix, right? (With clear weather)

What makes you so sure? I just played Chamonix earlier and didn't see any mountains like that. I got distracted in racing and forgot to specifically look during the middle section (although I still don't remember any mountains, just hills), but there weren't any mountains in the other sections. Where would that be on the track too?

It begins after the bridge. Its not easy to reconize as they are completely covered in snow in GT4 whereas in that GT5 shot, its more sunny and it shows some melted snow. I'll try to get a video to show what I'm talking about.\

Edit: Here it is, begins about 1:21 (so its actually alot farther then I said)

I don't think that's enough to say it's the same track, especially when everything else is different. On the GT5 track there's no snow bank on the right side and there's an orange fence instead of a short stone wall. Plus in GT4 it's a cliff right there at the edge and there are other roads (maybe on the same track) down there whereas on the GT5 track the hill just moves up from the fence (there could possibly be a short gap between but I personally don't think so).

And beyond that, it really could be anywhere. Nothing to me really says it's a match. I haven't seen a clear shot of the mountains in GT4 but they certainly don't look as pronounced as in GT5 from what you can see in that video, and other than that I just don't see a real resemblance. Any snow road could be going straight with a mountain around it.

I think its going in a different direction, which is why its not on the right side.

Like I first stated, it could be a remade track. Also, what other snow course in the previous GTs do you know that has that particular trail going through the mountain? I would say it could be course maker, but what would be the point of showing a track made in it?

Another variation could be the Monza 'Junior' layout, which I would be surprised if it wasn't included.

It cuts across the main straight and links up just after the Ascari chicane.

If you look at around 1:52 in this video (which, at the time, is showing Eiger Nordwand in the rain), you can see it's showing an extended version on the game map. It starts before turn 1 (that road going off to the left), goes way off along the mountain ridge, and pulls back on at the second switchback. So that appears to confirm a 3rd (and possibly 4th, if it includes reverse) variation for Eiger Nordwand.
