If they [Sony and PD] don't see it that way also, then they need to restructure their outlook on things.

We know it will be playable, which is a very good indicator that a release date for this year is certain. We know that if it's going to be playable, then obviously Sony is going to devote time to it at their press conference, so release date, specs, features and a new trailer are almost certain as well.

I really think we are all going to be beyond happy when we hear what Polyphony Digital and Sony tell us in a few hours! I really feel this!

Dont cry if nothing is announced then. Im not saying nothing will be announced but theres no solid proof that theres going to be something announced and getting all excited is silly because you will be VERY VERY upset if nothing is announced.
