GT5 (probably) playable at Gamescom!

I think the same. As the conference finished with that surprisingly way, I still have a tiny hope of seeing something new in the stands. Waiting for the reports.

Have you seen it with your own eyes?? All we have to go on is a fuzzy video taken with a mobile... For all we know it could very well be Prologue... I'm not going to believe anything anymore until I see cold, hard proof... Not an attack on you, just a bit frustrated even though I told myself not to get excited...

I HIGHLY doubt they'd let people play GT5 without announcing the features officially. God knows what that set-up is, but unless PD have gone for a radical marketing stunt of launching a game without telling anyone, it ain't GT5.

i told you guys. there was no GT coming at gamescom. too low key a show for the full unveiling of GT.

You guys should have listened to me. Gt5 will be unveiled at the tokyo game show.

I'm not liking this whole TGS thing. TGS is way too late in the year to give GT5 enough marketing time for a hopeful 2009 release. If I remember correctly GT4 had what seemed like an entire years worth of solid info and marketing before it released.

The release date that I know is still solid, though obviously it doesn't look like any "official" date is going to be announced at GamesCom. It will be interesting to see what people find at the Gran Turismo booth, though.

So is this date a worldwide one?

TGS would maybe signify a December release for Japan only as it doesn't matter if you release a game over Christmas.

I can't see a late December release for EU/US so maybe February or a December 1st that is quite short for marketing.

Anyways, I maybe inclined to import if its 2months before EU release, definitely 3 months. If its a one month delay that would be annoying lol.

My gut feeling is it'll be ready for shipping in march for all but I hope I'm wrong.
