Uh...no. I don't. Please do tell more. like the name. and the country.

I decied only to add the two layouts of Pallyup and Tacoma downtown, partially because I didn't get names for the others. I'll try adding the others if you can think up names for them.

The Top Gear "Best Driving Road" (discounting much of Europe, let alone the rest of the world...) is the drive from Davos in Switzerland to somewhere near Prato allo Stelvio in Italy. I have an image from google maps of my interpretation (over 95 km,) but nowhere to upload it to...

From Wikipedia:
Worlds best driving road: The presenters each took a light-weight supercar to Mainland Europe to find the best driving road in the world ... They end up with the conclusion that they found the best driving road in the world (from Davos to the Stelvio Pass) ... Series Ten, Episode One
linky:[WIKIPEDIA]Top_Gear#Challenges[/WIKIPEDIA] third from bottom in the challenges list.

EDIT:
Map of first route: Davos - Susch - Zernez - Prato allo Stelvio
Map of second route: Davos - Susch - Nauders - Prato allo Stelvio (Two border crossings: Austria, then Italy.)

Note that in both cases google maps dislikes the section from Davos to Susch and insists that you take the train, hence my decision to make an (edited) image... I just couldn't be arsed to upload it!

It isn't really, but it was supposedly mentioned in a Japanese magazine sometime last year, translating to "All Indy+F1" or something. Also, on the GT5 Home weather feed, a place called Speedway is part of the cycle, and IMS is in Speedway, Indiana. HOWEVER, I have pointed out (and subsequently been ignored) that the dot on the map is in the Southeastern US rather than the Midwest, and Talladega Seperspeedway is in Speedway, Alabama.

Actually, it was confirmed in the January issue of Playstation:The Official Magazine. In fact it was mentioned in Ver. 3.0. Here's the link in case you don't believe me;

There are Dozens of real life tracks I'd like to see added to the game, but I'd also like to see the return of the Rome Night Course, and the Seattle short course, from GT2. They were among my favorite tracks, and they just kinda went missing starting with GT3.

This configuration would fall under the road course since there's where it is.

Downtown Tacoma
3.8 miles. 15 corners. Start/Finish at 11th ave points A-B front stretch heading north.
Notable Corners:
First two corners off main straight feature steep elevation (Tacoma is as steep as Seattle)
Tacoma Ave onto St Helens Ave Chicane. small elevation change
N 1st onto N E St has a significant slope through the corner
Stadium way onto I705. I drive it every day and even at 30mph its fun.

Market Street Raceway, Tacoma, WA
2.5 miles. 14 corners. S/F on Pacific Ave at points B-A.

Highway 161 (formerly Puyallup)
3.5 miles. 14 corners. Start/Finish at point A heading south.
Notable corners:
Highway 161 southbound from 36th St E is all downhill. the stretch finishes with an INCLINING very fast right hander onto an overpass and then down to S/F.

Highway 161 Alternate Course
3.4 miles. 15 corners. S/F at point A/B heading east.

Emerald Queen Raceway
2.5 miles. 15 corners. S/F point C/A heading West.

EQ Alternate
2.7 miles. 11 corners. S/F at A/B heading south.

Morrison, Steele Raceway
3.6 miles. 14 corners. S/F at B/A heading east.

Stadium Raceway
1.7 miles. 10 corners. S/F at A/B heading north.

MLK Raceway
2.0 miles. 9 corners. S/F on MLK BLVD at W Lombard heading north.

Downtown Baltimore
1.6 miles. 14 corners. S/F on N Charles at E Saratoga heading north.

All updated, and linked to your post, for the sake of keeping the posts short.

Stelvio Pass is ALREADY on the list, and I'm not going to extend it. It'll be longer already than the Japanese passes.

Got 'em

Well, that's good to know. But I still maintain my stance about Talladega.

I wouldn't get your hopes up, though. Daytona's in the game already, and it's almost the same, if a little slower. Still, it's already on the list.

More information?

Thanks. I needed that.

LIST UPDATED.

Note: From now on, I'm not going to accept any more "custom" citcuits: It's nothing personal, but I think if I add any more, I'll break the post and have to start all over again.

Apologies, I was merely replying to somebody else's post asking about the Top Gear "Best Driving Road." It didn't stand out in the list, mainly because it's listed under Italy. The Top Gear Best Driving Road™ starts in Davos, which happens to be in Switzerland; Stelvio is right on the Italian/Swiss/Austrian border, as can be seen from the links I posted.

I respect that there's a lot of work in maintaining this thread, though, so well done. 👍

Thank you, and it's okay, I guess. It is quite a bit of work maintaining this.

I'll get that Banger Bullring up. If they include NASCAR Sprint Cup cars, could prove a nice short track.

Note that the "Transverse Roads" are not accessible from the windy roads inside the park except the 97th street one on the west side. The rest are only accessible from Central Park West and 5th Ave on the east or Central Park North and South. There are so many possible options here for a really cool and challenging racetrack. There are ups and downs, blind corners, hard braking areas, long sweeping full throttle passages. The roads are wide enough for 3-wide racing. They should have an F1 race there! Only problem is where to make the pits. Google map "central park" and take a look! For distance calculations use the link:

At the moment, Jim Prowler is not accepting any more custom tracks.

Simple: build the Start/Finish Line on Park Drive North next to the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservior and build the Pits parallel to it on Fifth Avenue. Sure, it would probably wreak hell on traffic, but this is Formula One we're talking about. The glamour should more than compensate.

ABC can shut down Times Square for concerts, and they shut down that and most of Broadway for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Besides, It's a videogame: they can make a track through race-unfreindly Tokyo, But....

I'm afraid if I add any other Customs I'm gonna have to make another thread. I'm already resorting to linking to posts instead of images and websites, because of the sizes of the URLs, which take up valuable characters. Besides, I don't see any specific layout drawn in that image, so....

Oh, RACECAR, It's "Prower," No "l." Like "Miles 'Tails' Prower," in Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

Do You Race?: My comment wasn't really directed at you, I guess. More at the folk who might try in the future. Sorry.
RACECAR: Eh, It happens all the time, dont' feel that bad.

Check out the ending movie on GT5P. There's a load of tracks scrolling down the left hand side. I think I saw Fuji on there but I'm not to hot on track layouts.Maybe a bit of a clue as to what is going to be in the full game
