La Sarthe, old '60 layout maybe (??)What track is that at 1:37-1:40, i know ive seen that turn before and its really bugging me.
I didn't translate the rest because it's the same old same oldOn a side note would be nice to get most of these videos translated even though they will probably be saying information we already know.

I was under the impression that Vettel had driven it in-game.Hey I thought the X1 was only virtual, they say it exists and Vettel tested it and got a new best lap on Suzuka (20 seconds faster than anything else)
Maybe the lap is virtual, but they say the X1 existsI was under the impression that Vettel had driven it in-game.
Maybe the lap is virtual, but they say the X1 exists![]()
The way I'm looking at it is that the body exists (testing purposes, etc),
Bummer, but that GT by Citroen race car is definitely not packing a v8. It sounds like an electric car.

P.S. Didn't PD design it?

How do people keep getting the first bend wrong?!!![]()
They are used to more arcadey racers with better but more unrealistic brakes.
That Citreon looks like it would kill you and your family and your dog if you so much as shift gears a 100th of a second late.
That reminds me of an article in Top Gear Magazine (UK Aug 2010) in which Lewis Hamilton is given the chance to drive Ayrton Senna's F1 car (80's). He said "I still have to get used to the gearshift I went from second to fifth once."
That car would probably rip my head off and I wouldn't mind at all seeing it as a classic car in a GT game.![]()
At first I was thinking "oh maybe he's testing out the damage system"... then after turn 2, I wasHe doesn't brake at all.
Like most people for some reason.
one remark about the "beginning" of this video https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=130239&page=142
the last four cars (ford gt, corvette, viper and sls) have obviously a different level of lights then the leading four cars... can you see it?
possibility 1) they got "stand lights" and the others "dimmed beames"
possibility 2) they got "dimmed head lights" and the others "full beam"
p.s.: in the end the viper for example got the brighter lights too...so is it switchable during race?... wow...
Or, they just don't know what they're doing, which seems the most obvious answer. Most of the videos where this happens, it's like the person doesn't know GT at all, and the concept of slowing down for a corner is simply alien to them. Never mind the big red streak on the road, they obviously have no idea what it means. You can see it in some of the vids that have a clearer shot of the screen, where you can see how much gas and brake they're giving it. Or rather, how much gas they're giving it (100% at all times).. they don't use the brakes. At first I was thinking "oh maybe he's testing out the damage system"... then after turn 2, I was![]()
... ehhh. Oh well.
A couple reasons come to mind...
~ maybe its simply because they don't know the track? or
~ does ASM have auto-braking? They probably think all the assists are on... meaning, flat-out.

Having the MP4/4, aka F688/S, aka Polyphony002 would be awesome, even if it wasn't with the Marlboro livery.
