It's a move controller, it wouldn't be connected to anything that would defeat the purpose of it.

Ok, well then explain to me how Force feedback could possibly work without an achor point for the motors. Without an anchorpoint, you just have spinning motors (like in a DS3 controller). Not to mention how much battery the FFB would drain. So I'm guessing it would have to be plugged into a wall outlet as well.

Not necessarily it could just use updated DS3 systems, or a whole new system that imitates FFB and they're just calling it FFB to drive it home for marketing and sales.

Actually without the ability to dial down 900 degrees in GT. I can't see this working at all.

It's not my style, but it's interesting, for sure. G27, you better watch out! ;)
To be honest, I still think the G27 or any FFB steering wheel is better than this, but it's good for those that don't have the space for a full-sized rig in their home.
Changing lug nuts?

Painting your car?

Car wash?

Nope...

Get ready for the biggest revolution in racing:
600x-1

That is right folks. You can now drive the Shelby Cobra on the Nurburgring at night, in the rain, with you move controller (+whatever the hell this thing is... sold separately)
What... the hell did my eyes just see?!

You would think they would have sixaxxes control first? (unless I am missing something) Just mario cart style for ps3. BUT it might be acceptable for a form of drifting cause you can press the handbrake in a fluid motion.

True. But if you're seriously into your drifting, then you might have developed a handbrake for yourself by now to get around this problem with FFB wheels.

I been hoping for move support but not like this!! I was hoping for move to replace the face tracking maybe a cap with a move light built in :( . I like the concept but only for the bike games with twist throttle but looking at the picture it do not look like you can straighten the control or use it horizontal ? For that fact I wouldn't buy it. Still hoping for a move cap oneday

It's not really something they are aiming towards us, people on GTPlanet, but more for Modnation Racers and LBP Karting gamers and then they are hoping those people say 'Hey, I can use this on GT5 too' and then they go out and buy a game they never would otherwise.

The good thing about this peripheral is that it confirms at least one more patch for the game.

I have a Move controller but never use it really, never for racing games.

I'll stick to my Sixaxis or DualShock 3 thanks (and my Driving Force GT wheel)

Watched E3 yesterday, and read the PS.blog this morning and came across this:

The PlayStation Move Racing Wheel

Available this fall for $39.99 (MSRP), the PlayStation Move Racing Wheel will support upcoming racing games like Little Big Planet Karting, in addition to PS3 racing favorites like Gran Turismo 5, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, BurnOut Paradise, MotorStorm Apocalypse, and more.

So i can only guess that GT5 will be getting an update to support move.

Please no. This sounds absolutely awful!

No, even though I don't have space for a proper wheel I'd rather have a DS3 than one of those.

Seems like it'd be fun for arcade racers like LBP Karting. I mean, I certainly wouldn't feel right using my fancy Driving Force GT just to drive Sackboy around.

You're all going to eat your words when the GT Academy 2013 champion wins using the Move "wheel". :sly:

On a serious note though, I can see this being useful for people who don't have the space for a proper wheel, but there's a much better solution already out there.

I can see the appeal of using this for LBP Karting and ModNation Racers, but for GT5? Naah.

I've seen that HKS racing controller before, but I don't think that it's such a good idea when it comes down to the accelerator and brake "buttons". When I used to drive with a DS3, I always used the trigger buttons as accelerator and brake, it gave me much more smoother control.

Just can't be bothered looks like a right faff!! Biggest revolution in racing?? Only if your insane or not a racing fan! Maybe something to think about?!

Sure I think it's a great idea. I wonder about the accuracy of the inputs required for GT5 but anything that lowers the cost of getting a wheel for those with budget issues, and increases the enjoyment of the game, I'm all for.
