Visual damage is a good sign, probably means that there will be an option for mechanical damage...!
And I've just noticed, the driver of the Scooby rally car is Petter Solberg (it says so on the side, and it even looks like him!) I wondered why I though he looked familiar! A full-on licence, then!

Yeah, Bombardier is a major sponsor for the IRL.. I believe the Texas race is called the Learjet 550.
Wow I love GT as much as the next guy but this is pure fanboy going on. Forza 3 shows much improved graphics (near GT5P), Lamborghini, Porsche, shows a car flipping, it has damage on all cars, in car views, car mod'ing, etc. The last in-game video on virtualr.net looks great.
GT5 has weather effects but perhaps no damage on street cars? No evidence of Porsche or Lamborghini either? Nascar?! Who cares, EA Sports already covers that if you like to drive in circles. Rally? Dirt 2 has you covered. Night racing in a LeMans racecar and weather effects are huge (I will love that) but is that worth trading being able to race a Lamborghini at the Ring knowing if you run off the track your day is done? How long till it comes out?
I will still buy GT5 but perhaps more interesting is that I'm sold on Forza 3 whereas before it was not even on the table. It looks great and will be out this Oct. Which means I can enjoy ripping around the Ring or Laguna Seca knowing that I can total my ride if I do something dumb.

A lot of the Forza presentation looked pre-rendered to me. Whereas we know this isn't pre-rendered.
If you care that much about damage why are you still around for GT5? I mean, did you really expect them to show everything straight off? At least we have damage now! My god, complaining about a teaser for damage? Proof that the complainers won't ever stop.

Only the Trailer is called Concept Movie not the Game. that is because you don´t see gameplayfootage it´s just a "concept" of what GT5 should/will be.
That is the only reason the Trailer is called Concept, you wan´t see People walk around on the track you race like in this concept movie.

Are you sure? Remember the title "GT Concept" has been tacked on to the Prologue series.

Reventón;3414717I may not have caught a post, but did anyone else here catch the Top Gear track being shown off?
There was the track with the 787B on it, looked like it had some airport runway lights on it, but I don't know if it was the Top Gear test track.
But the only other airport track I know of is Sebring (there are probably more), so it's gotta be either that or the TG track or maybe a fantasy course.

Hm someone has a clue on what track the two Le-Mans cars (Mazda 787B and the Audi R 10) are driving?
I guess either La-Sarthe (Le-Mans) or the Top Gear test track (notice the hangers in the background on the right).

I love how it seems the sounds have come on leaps and bounds since Prologue. The GT500 at the end sounds AMAZING!
