Now I'm wondering if there will be a Nascar "package" that will allow PD to render all 43 cars on track at once-they have essentially the same body models, does this sound feasible?

Not sure. I'd say the 16 car limit is due to polycount, rather than a memory limit; but I could be wrong, given the PS3 is a bit "shy" on RAM... But I could be wrong about that, too (I don't want to start a war!)

Anyway, Amar212's "Winds" thread has been updated, but I've just re-read his Fifth:

Fifth wind says that reunion will happen in two forms, one greater than other and birdtamers will have freedom to decide which reunion they will attend. Greater reunion will ask for great sacrifice to be made in order to get all present and future treasures without new sacrifices needed, while smaller reunion will come in form already known, asking for more sacrifices if future treasures catches the eyes of the birdtamers.

Seems like add-on packs will be available to purchase, no?

Hasn't anyone wondered what car is parked next to the bikes at 00:14 seconds?

I think its a 2000-2007 Mercedes CL500 - CL600, the back of the car really looks like it.

Maybe Timppaq could blow up that shot and we could get a confirmation on that.

as we've seen in this trailer the Rally Toscana track is (very probably) placed in San Gimignano (very famous medieval town between Firenze and Siena);

Hmm, "form already known"-Prologue? Would that mean a downloaded update to complete Prologue as GT5? Then pay extra for the other stuff, or buy the whole lot all at once.

Nascar will not be realistic without a full field. I'm leaning towards (hoping mostly) that a limited portion of what's available for Nascar cars and tracks will be available for the 'base' complete game. Extra cash will buy you a full PD Nascar 'mode' with all the cars and all/most of the tracks from the series, and a full 43-car field on-track, allowing you to play a career or complete season. It would essentially have to be a separate game to get all the cars out there at once.

I'm almost certain that's a 1-series BMW. That's also what I think the third car on the Nordschleife clip is, although I may well be mistaken.

EDIT: Now Fruitcake has convinced me that the car on the Nord' is a Merc' of some sort...

Correct. It is named the Bombardier Pagoda. Bombardier makes business jets and trains.. That logo is outdated now.. The Speedway replaced it with their 'centennial era' logo
