It looks like this GT5 caught the attention of the NASCAR and RALLY fans not to mention the ussual die hard GT fans . May be some FORZA fans might jump onto the GT5 band wagon.

By the way,the begining of the GT Mobile trailer was rendered with GT5 engine !

The Enzo we all saw was made from GT5 standards, look closely at it !

I mean, did you really expect them to show everything straight off? At least we have damage now! My god, complaining about a teaser for damage? Proof that the complainers won't ever stop.

Settle down before you wet yourself. All I made was an honest comment that we didn't get much info. This is E3 after all and there was little to no news about what we can actually expect. Maybe, hopefully, there will be more news to follow. My bad for commenting something other than, OMG OMG its so amazing!!

Are you sure? Remember the title "GT Concept" has been tacked on to the Prologue series.

Yes I am sure, now even more then when I wrote that. I am downloading at the moment the Video from Gran Turismo TV (ingame) and there you can read exactly the same description off the trailer. ;)

Nice GIF:

Show this to somebody who doesn't know GT and he/she thinks it's TV :D

Can someone get a still shot of the Rally Car driver's face? and the shot right before his face that shows his Helmet?

edit: lol, nevermind

Doesnt the car land on the Right Front? But the left front looks more damaged. disclaimer- Ive never jumped a subaru 100ft.

yesssssssss it does ..is that the nurburgring its on?

Yup, just going through Flugplatz...

A word of caution about the sound: most GT trailers (and intro movies etc.) have been "dubbed" in the past; my first impression of this video is that it, too, is dubbed.

Time will tell..!

Thankyou thankyou thankyou!!!!!

Im more than happy with this video!

I was very impressed by the forza video yesterday, but im a big time fan of WRC, and we have official WRC!!!!!!!!!!

yussssssssssssssssssssssss

You made me realize the best way to bring the GT series back to the forefront in the US/NA is via the Nascar license. People looking for the a Nascar game could end up in the Gran Turismo family, and possibly broaden their horizons. :sly:

If you think you've seen online punters now.........just wait until the EA Nascar Thunder crowd shows up!

It's concerning to be completely without any mention of a release date, but the trailer blew me away. IMO they're gonna hit on at least 2 or the three or four things that would really be great to see and that's good progress in my book.

Hopefully NASCAR will get more North Americans racing the other modes as well. :)

"PlayStation's software lineup this year is unparalleled with proven franchises like Gran Turismo 5, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves, and God of War III, as well as highly anticipated games like MAG and ModNation Racers," said Peter Dille, Senior Vice President of Marketing and PlayStation Network, SCEA. "It's a great time to own a PS3 with exclusive games for every taste and every genre. Our team has done a tremendous job to highlight that 'Only on PlayStation' really means only possible on PlayStation."

I just pray from all my heart that it's true !

Wouldn't it be hilarious if, as a result of including licensed NASCARs, PD indirectly brought the best racing series (Super GT, DTM, more Le Mans style, etc) to the US?

Of course, they wouldn't be called that, but you get the gist.

I don't think you can interpret this as being anything other than over then next 12 months. It was clearly stated on stage that the kart game was 2010. Amar indicated 12 months. Ties in with this Sony statement - by June 2010 then?

*Homer mode* AH!! NASCAR!! JGTC!! DAMAGED WRC'S!! MISSION 34!! HEAD TO HEAD DRAG RACING LMP'S AT TOP GEAR TRACK!!

Mmmmm, drag racing LMP's!! :drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:

/Homer mode

10/10 Kaz, you've always had something in store for all of us. This my friends is what you call making perfection here. 👍

I'm guessing most of those people will get frustrated with the game and give up as EA basically made arcade crap where you could go full throttle no matter what track while GT5 will be sim and will require actual skill.

(I'm talking about the punters by the way)

Going by GT humongous sales figures it always has. You do know GT is the 2nd best selling console game of all time?.

I will be uploading some 720p shots soon, but I will try to capture some 1080i shots as well.

Wouldn't that be wonderful! And as an added benefit, the rest of the world might get a better idea of why oval racing has particular merits. Some might become fans of the close racing and the strategy involved when there are so many pit stops.

I think we are going to have to wait longer than we want to get this, or maybe we will get it in pieces? I'd love it if they updated Prologue to the full GT5 in segments, maybe a free bump when the PSP GT comes out, and then charge me a few dollars at Xmas to DL an upgrade to the full version. March would bring the PD full Nascar package (more $, somewhat coincides with 2010 Nascar season) and then sometime later (or simultaneously) the WRC stuff.

Sorry, dreaming. I'm thinking we don't get jack for the PS3 until March, at the very earliest.

I saw not a single Ferrari, but there was one in GT Mobile. I don't think they backed out from the damage...or at least I hope. No Lambos or Porsche yet either, but again, it IS just a concept video.

Funny how in the PS3 trailer @ 1:56, it says Produced under the license of Ferrari Spa. Bunch of carebears...

Just watched the trailer.

Holy wowzers,
I just made a mess in my trousers.

Definitely am considering buying a ps3 now...

The trailer is on GTTV in the Japan copy of GT5 Prologue. 161mb

On the website it says its on the PSN store soon.

Don't know if its been posted or found its way on PSN but it'll be their soon.

Edit: GTTV E3 trailer looks friggin awesome on the old 1080p Bravia
