GT5's physics are 'nearly the same as actually driving'

Yes, but that is a different forum, and this is the GT5 board.

Nice read.

The new physics are pretty damn awesome, indeed.

I hope the FFB effects are much better then in gt5p... After you´ve played Supercar challenge, the gt5p FFB effects are an joke...

Kaz is really proud of the way the new physics system captures the 'dynamic' feel of driving, going as far to say "We feel that this could be nearly the same feel as actually driving".

Maybe GT5 will simulate players being pushed back into their couches while under acceleration...Or maybe, they'll set up a fan next to my TV set to simulate the wind in my hair as I drive my 911 Cab or my Miata...

I'm sooo excited for "nearly the same..."

"Are" and "could be" are two different things, but whatever.

Well I like what Kaz said, because I am sure it might be close to real life, but wont be exact.. on other hand I loved how Turn 10 said "WE ARE the best in" and it turns out they are not even close.

Keep in mind that when FM3 came there was no current competition, so technically the comment "We are the best" is valid from the time it was made until something else betters it.

Not strictly true - GT5:Prologue and NFS:Shift were games available at the same time - not to mention a plethora of PC Sims...

I don't know which of these options are more realistic than Forza3 - as I've not played any of them (Except GT5P)

Well I think unless Einstein got the laws of physics totally wrong then you can pretty much count Forza 3 out of the running, I'm talking about flying cars and other such strange phenomenon.

Actually, this thread is at the right place, the other one is not. That interview is about GT5 as the final game, not the demo. Nevertheless, both threads are useless.
