VEEEERRRRY LONG POST HERE. GET YOUR SCROLLER READY!

And I present to you, all of the cars we have wished for so far!(partly to prevent people saying things over and over again [but I know it will happen])

V2.0

We don't want much, do we! :lol:

I did a count based on GranTurismo916's post.

Cars: 2045
Bikes: 2
Tracks: 251

edit:
How many people are going to read that entire thing?:scared:

Ctrl+F maybe? But I'm sure most won't be bothered. Plus the OP should link to that post in the first comment.

Bring back all the cars and all the tracks that GT2 had... It kind of upset me they dropped the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe and the 427 Corvettes. I also kind of miss racing on Midfield Raceway.

Another one of the things I liked about GT2, is you could buy used cars AT the dealership, instead of waiting for them to pop up in the UCD or OCD like in GT5.

What to add? How about some more classic Ferraris and Lamborghinis? The muscle cars in GT5 were also slim pickins. I'd like to see Porsche come to GT (although I doubt it will ever happen). There was a game awhile back called Need For Speed: Porsche Unleashed. Would be cool if they included some of the classic Porsche road and race cars from that. That game had some pretty fun tracks too.

It would be cool if they had a drag league in GT6. I think GT3 had a drag strip. Would be fun to use online.

I'd also like to see the ability to do engine swaps, make your wheels larger in diameter or thickness, have more than just ten generic wheels to choose from, paint custom decals on your car... Forza has it, why doesn't Gran Turismo?

Standard cars should be done away with, but whatever, I can live with them. Having a wider selection of cars > having all premiums.

There is also no need to have multiple reincarnations of the same Skyline GT-R with AWD. I can see if you have an R32, R33, R34 and R35 in AWD, or one or two which are the FR ones, but there's no need to have the same Skyline five different times like in GT5. Come on. This game is called GRAN TURISMO, not I HAVE A HARD ON FOR SKYLINES...

----------------

It would probably take forever to develop a game like that, but think of it this way --> if it included all these things, it would probably be THE best simulation racing game ever made.

If the game is not up to my expectations, I will start petitioning Sony and the guys who make Forza to do a version for PlayStation.

Or, if they want to add more skylines, different racing modification for them!

For example: Skyline R34 N1 -> Calsonic
Skyline R34 GT-R -> Penzoil
Skyline R34 GT-R V-spec -> Arta Zexel

and go on... lol

Pictures.

Also that huge list is quite incomplete. You simply can't say "2012 bmw 3-series" or "honda s2000".
The way to say it is "Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6 '13", not just "Wiesmann Roadster"

I think adding the year to the cars name makes this thing worse, they should just put the Mark or Gen. Ie Golf Mk6, Focus Mk 2 Gen 2. That way it could span many years where there hasn't been any Change. This is where dups come in and should go out....

There are also facelifts and other changes between generations.

Actually I forgot to add Accord's NA and Japanese versions (second one is sexier), but you can go all retard ("Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR T.M. EDITION Special Color Package ’99")

Not saying that the game should have each version (I prefer less than GT5). I think it should just be specified somewhere in the game.

Gen 2 is the face lift focus, just an idea really (2nd generation focus mark 2 basically)

But tommi makinen edition are rarer and more expensive. I think one type from one country is enough for that car (unless actually different in another country, ie Civic is different in Japan compared to Europe but in game alot aint), specials should be added but just one of the generation so no 93,94,95,96 year GTR or 99,00,01,02 GTR. Just the major changes, GTT, GTR, GTR VSPEC, GTR VSPEC NUR II and specials including the Midnight purple ones. The R34 gives away the year just like Evo VI GSR is enough without the '99 as it wasn't around that long.

I edited that part before your post, but I think the same. There's no need to have about 30 S2000s.

Out of those 17 are regular cars (not race tuned or modified) but only 2 have a substantial enough difference: 99-2003 and 2004-2008. No Japanese, Euro or NA versions and others, and maybe add a third one that's not in GT5 (2008 CR)

In my eyes, s2k should be original AP1, AP2 (facelift), AP2 CR and the Final AP2 GT Edition. That enough as with good editors, we could then make each one our own

I tried to take out some of the vague ones, there were a lot before. :P

EDIT: I'll go change it now. Whatever doesn't have a year is most likely to get taken out (unless everyone knows what they're talking about).

Koenigsegg in GT6... Got a source??

I googled GT6 one day and I saw a picture of a koenigsegg in images and then I clicked on it which led me to a page saying that it was a preview render for GT6. So, there's a slight possibility of it being in the next GT. I'm not 100% sure though.

Bloody hope so, need more fast cars that are out of the reach of the normal man. PD should just go to Abu Dhabi with a camera and see

That almost certainly came up on here ages ago, it was a render (an amazing one!) but sadly had no links to GT or Polyphony. Was it a grey CCX?

Yeah, that's what it was. It was very good detail. If that was an early GT6 render, then I'm already impressed with the game and there hasn't even been an official release date or trailers posted yet.

Alright, here's my total car wishlist. It's a big one! I apologize for the spelling errors I've made along the way and for some of the inaccurate names I gave to some of the cars. I copied this from a word document I save on my computer.

Think they should add a country selector at the start of the game so what ever country you live in, you get those versions, So euro get european, asia get asian and america get american versions, that way, everone gets what there familier too LHD/RHD and less dups, as (j) stay will Japan and (EU) stay european countries but are the same in game) just means no trading would be possibe due to the way its set up unless u trade a (j) to a euro user and it changes to (eu) automatically. Same with Dups manufacturer so Opel/ Holden/ Vauxhall will stay in the correct countrys. Less clutter in game and everyone gets the cars they know, plus PD can get away with duping cars

But we like to have to American versions too!

That would mean the American game wouldn't have an Opel Speedster or ANY pre-35 generation Nissan Skylines, a car I am particularly fond of. It would also most likely create the same glitch GT2 had, where region-selecting would make it physically impossible to get 100%.

Should clarify, i ment if theres only one version then its available to every one but if there is mutiple versions (due to region location) then just one available. So example is, Euro get everything except US or J versions of cars they already got (Roadster/Eunos/MX5 etc), cutting down total car garage but not removing. Not sure how it would make it impossible to get 100% if they dont make it Impossible (no 1000 car trophy etc)
