GT6 Demo in July!

Which tracks are in the demo? Sorry if this has been announced before. Haven't been around for a while.

- Both the Leaf and the 370Z seem to have too much grippy tires. The 370Z especially, again with the semi-slick "sports tires" as stock. Such tires aren't supposed to be factory-equipped on normal road cars, period.

Well,they're GT Academy tuned. So they're probably race cars,which means they would have sport tires.

I think it depends on where you have downloaded the demo from. I set my language to German and it still sets it to miles.
I'll try to re-download it from the German store, that should do the trick.

Clutch is still the same, I didn't notice any difference over GT5

FFB with a CSR Elite is really smooth, but lack some informations compared to GT5, I need to test more

Still a ways from release so I wouldn't worry too much.

Yeah, only mild and once so far. There again, I'm only on the first TT. The Sunday and Clubman cups seemed fine.

Took me all of this time just to get a hang of Arena.. Silverstone is so hard when you only get one sighting lap.

Traction control level now varies from car to car. The Z sounds so meaty! much nicer sound.

I like the sound of that...

the 370Z in Japan as tested in Best Motoring has high performance tyres such as those as options. just like the R35 GT-R had a choice of semi-slicks and a harder tyre choice. Dunlops and Bridgestones if I remember correctly.

Regarding the GTA/Demo, playing with the control pad, the road going 370z feels good, and is quite easy to drift - feels different to GT5
When you brake and shift weight forward and then snap the throttle when loaded in a turn, you can kick the tail out, in a way that feels nothing like GT5, really nice - only happened once so far so the tyres feel organic and emergent


The Nissan Leaf rolls a lot!

I had fun abusing the cars to see the physics - might post a video capture later of my exploits

The suspension movement looks really good over the curbs and what not, maybe more realistic looking than any other driving I've seen/played so far - visually that is

Not liking the the jagged/flickering lines and the less dense/realistic looking smoke compared to GT5.
Interior is fairly dark

But how much space does it occupy on your drive when it's installed?

(I have a 40Gb fat PS3 with roughly 3Gb left )

I have nothing to compare it to, this is my very first time going around Silverstone - I went on the Wikipedia page to learn the corner names but that's the extent of my knowledge.

Are you using cockpit view? That's where most complaints are coming from. Apparently the last corner at Silverstone suffers badly.

I think you need double the space of what you download.

They ARE!!! Did the lap in the 370Z, sounds nice... it was set to automatic and it felt like the shifting of gears took a little longer:tup:

Did the two races with the Leaf, and boy... just LOVE the way the body rolls in curves, it is sinking in so deeply on the load side. Turn in a curve with some throttle it understeers, if you get off the throttle while still turning it turns in more with a bit of oversteering (back gets slightly loose)... like a FWD should...

so far it´s 👍👍👍 ... good job PD.

I love that demo and probably I'll love GT6 can't wait for it!!! That demo gies me some GT feeling that I had only with the old GT games such as GT4...
GT5 went too mich far from the original GT games but I think GT6 will ne a game I'll lever stop playing!!!

Penalty system for Silverstone is incredibly broken.. I'm being disqualified for running over the kurbing slightly on the straights but when I cut a corner by the same degree if not further I don't.. slightly backwards.

Ohhh I'm even more excited, that's great to hear. My demo is finally done, time to get the taste of GT6. Thanks for sharing your impression Flaco. 👍
