This is US retail version of the game IMO

Great to know.

Amar is impressed...

The hype train is once again back on track:

We need someone to make one of these with a 6 on it. If we are getting it in 9-10 days, it will have to be getting printed very soon, if not already in the process (which I believe it is).

If I remember correctly Kaz has seen this gif and commented on it (twatter, interview?), he thought it was funny...

I have the sixth and the ninth of December booked off. I'm hoping it all arrives as planned for a long, dirty weekend of GT6.

Am I the only one a bit concerned about the review embargo being released on the same day the game comes out? That kind of business has never shown the game in question to be any good and/or riddled with problems.

it was the same with GT5, Sony restricted public reviews from big websites until the day of release, i remember IGN's GT5 review mentioning why it took so long to post the review.

the only reason I can think of them doing this, is because of the day on update.

Hmmm not sure if this should put me to easy or not.
Read reviews in the morning and decide if you want to buy it for full price.
i preordered 15th Anniversary Edition already so bad reviews or good, i'll still have it day one.

Oh, it's not a question if I will get it or not, I just want the game to be good and that sort of practice doesn't instill hope.

I think PD is well aware that they have to release a better game than GT5. Sony, however, probably doesn't feel the need to let grumpy reviewers affect pre-orders. It's no secret that Forza has impressed the press in recent years and Driveclub seems to be Sony's answer to that. Meanwhile, as a result of a large established player base, GT6 can still do things its own way (the infamous Yamauchi vision), and therefore it may slowly transform into into a niche product, which is something reviewers rarely seem to properly appreciate. Sony probably takes that into consideration.

So GT6 then will be the first game in the series to make its release date and not be delayed since...what, GT2? Can anyone confirm that?

Congrats to PD for hitting their dates and finishing development on time

Reviewers got their copies a day ago

really with all the DLC to come, and half the game coming via DLC, I don't expect a delay thanks to the internet...
PD being sloth like once again :/

Lol. I was thinking the same thing. One thing we know for sure is that the game will release on the 6th without delays. I think Kaz finally understands the power behind patching and fixing a game's minor flaws later. Prior to the PS3, this was not an option. Today's games can release at less than 100% and fixed later. There is hope for future GT's to release on time now fellas, lol.

When Kaz said at the very first event that one of the goals for GT6 was to make it more adaptable, updatable, dynamic over time etc., the very first thought that came into my head was something to the effect of "oh great, this is Kaz's nice way of telling us that GT6 will be easier to patch when things inevitably go wrong because the game won't ship finished" :P
