GT6 Master Car List [NOT A WISHLIST]

This has probably been brought up before, but on the GT website it has a "list of cars carried over from GT5". I think it would be nice to have the link in the OP for people to see :)

Thanks for posting that, just had a look...

That just re-iterates how much GT6 is just GT5.5 to me...

They're carrying over all the duplicate cars i.e. cars with such minimal differences, only 1 would really be sufficient:

MX-5 J-Limited (NA, J) '91 / MX-5 J-Limited II (NA, J) '93,
Atenza touring car / Mazda 6 touring car
SKYLINE GT-R (R33) '95 / SKYLINE GT-R (R33) '96
350Z Concept LM Race Car / Fairlady Z Concept LM Race Car
Speedster Turbo '00 / VX220 Turbo '00

and just to top it off - no mention of the most wanted car (by a LONG way) from the GTP GT5 feedback- BMW M3 E30...

What a joke....

Some minor good news is that they got rid of the GT4 limited Z33 Fairlady according to that official list. So that's one less duplicate.

Anyone know if there'll be lower formula cars? F Renault, GP2 / GP3 and formula fords? If you want close racing get some formula fords or vees in the game..

If it's not on the list it hasn't been confirmed or rumoured to be in GT6.

Trust me, we'd know

Funnily enough, there is no such car as a "TRD 86 Racing" that was made in 2008.

There is, however, this, which was shown in 2012:

On FT86Club.com.

PD probably got the model year wrong like they did with the Alpine.

The full car list is not released yet.

Those cars are not duplicates. There is a difference between a 91 and 93 Miata. They are passionate about their cars - I could see why they want to include different model years.

I don't think it's a joke just because you're not getting what you personally want.

What most of us think is a joke is that some of these cars differ only in something as trivial as the design of the interior - which is a whole lot of good when it's a standard car without one in the first place.

I have to agree. I mean, I like having multiple trims of a car to choose from, but only when it comes to performance differences. Interior differences don't really matter much in a driving game (especially with cars that don't have a detailed interior view to begin with).

No they're not duplicates except for the ones that totally are. Ie those different only by name.

Yes exactly. There are (I think) 33 of those cars in GT5, only 11 are actually different. The other 22 are the same cars with different names from the different market.

I don't know if I read it on GTPlanet, but isnt the LFA Nurburgring Package included in GT6?
That hasn't really been comfirmed. There are rumors for that car being in GT6 since it showed up on one of Kaz's tweets I think that had to do with the Gran Turismo movie being made.

Its the same with people complaining about having the 86/BRZ/FRS in the game. If there were just the 86, the same people would say, "well, where is the FRS?" I agree with too many NA MX5's S13 Silvias, GT'R' s when there are fully rendered models. A cool approach would be to have the parts available to make the updated car. Chrome mirrors, wood steering wheel, different year wheel choice, engine capacity as an example.

The difference between the 350Z LM vs. the Fairlady Z LM is the downforce points. The Fairlady has 50/70 the 350 has 35/60 or 40/60

So the imaginary units of downforce measurements for the two versions of the same imaginary car are different?

Yeah, I still don't see the need in both. YMMV of course, but that's really stretching.

I just stated the difference between those two. I don't care for duplicates either way. Not for or against them, the inflated numbers and repetitive ucd aside, I like that theyre included.

There is something i don't understand.
There is a lot of duplicates, but they dont use similarities between models they build to improve the game.
For example, in real life, BMW 120d and 120i dashboard are exactly the same as 135i. But in game, only 135i has got dashboard view! Is it really difficult to copy/paste it?

I think Conquerer have this covered too
Please take your common sense and go elsewhere! Gran Turismo does not approve.
