Don't know if this was allready posted here, but they used the Lotus 97T today at Ascari presentation.

Well... those are all just pictures that were released. It remains to be seen what actual tangible changes have been implemented, or if all it is is a non-interactive pre-race animation it shows you (like the GT5 pit stops).

Yep... very nice.. but... where are grid girls? that would be a nice simulation...
Just kidding... this stuff is really promising. Qualifying is also something I strongly missed in GT5.

Even if it's just an animation you watch, like your garage in GT5 Prologue, every racing game needs stuff like this. It makes the overall experience so much more immersive and exciting.

There's a press release already. Don't worry, we'll have it all up on GTP News in a couple hours. But, yeah, you can bet on it being a car we're going to have access to in GT6 as DLC.

As much as i love the (grid) girls/women, i think that would be "distracting"... to say the least, if not sexist.

We are here for the cars... and the stars... Period.

Go for it Wardez!! We can't wait... I didn't know that JPS Lotus Renault DLC was confirmed...
GT6 is just a couple of days away but... they are going to be loooong...
 
1.25 million online 12 million sold................................most people still play offline... Why isn;t any of this in the games most important mode?

I believe this isn't new. It's already part of the game and happens before each race. Nothing to do with qualifying, or grids, or anything like that. They have the same sort of pre race shots in forza5.

They'll be fine on a track. Race cars are that low with low profile tyres and the like, and the vast majority of race tracks are really very smooth.

I wouldn't want to drive them on the road though. At best it'd be really uncomfortable, and you'd probably rip something off the bottom of your car before you'd gone a mile.

It's not the smoothness of the track surface that's the problem. It's the sidewall of the tire that's important during cornering. If you don't have a minimum of sidewall flex, the tire tends to just break loose suddenly rather than gradually. This is why you rarely see real race cars without a minimum amount of sidewall. I doubt the game accurately models this. But I guess we will see. I would expect those cars to be almost impossible to drive aggressively on a track. They are great for parking in a car show. But racing? Don't think so.

Yep, got a feeling they left a-spec a boring, sloppy messs. 1.2 million played gt5 online 12 million bought the game, yet PD keeps ignoring the most important part of the game.

Ai, real qualifying , damage and carer structure needs a total overhaul. More variety in events, varying championships. How hard is it to at least have some good variety in events?

What´s up mate!!! haha. Yeah that was posted but it is good to remind us about something that cool.

This car will be in the game for sure. And many others probably.

What do you mean? ... maybe that we should have qualifying for offline as well? I personally don't care.. I want qualifying for races among friends... welll of course it's a matter of personal taste
