Um, why are they showing cars with GT6 license plates that are not in GT6? *looking at the BMWs & Audi R8 Plus*

They might show up later as DLC.

That, or you could chalk it up to negligence on the organiser's part, because they just read that there was an M5 and an R8 in the game, so they grabbed any M5 and R8 they could procure from each manufacturer. And of course, the only ones the manufacturers have is the latest one of each. But that still doesn't explain the M6 being there...

I really, really hope it's the former.

By the way, there's also the new X-Bow GT there; the X-Bows currently in GT6 don't have windscreens.

lengthy breakdown of the menus showing the speed and several other things.

If you've seen it already great just move on to this next topic.;)

The credit rewards look massively improved in the Career Mode. Unless this is just a press copy with the rewards on steroids.

National A, Festival Italia: Race 2

Gold: Cr. 1,333,000
Silver: Cr. 866,000
Bronze: Cr. 666,000

Well, I hope they do show up as DLC as well and I have a feeling that they could considering the fact PD already announced the M4 coupe being put in GT6 via update on their website.

They get paid because they want to get paid doing that. Its not like they cant work anywhere else..

To be honest it's a complicated issue that won't be sorted by a debate on this website.

I, for one, would hate it if GT had grid girls, and think the whole thing's sad and pervy as hell.

Well, how about you get grid boys? That should level the playing field right out.

*runs before this turns into a full-blown off-topic argument*

Be grateful with those grid boys though. They are those who gave you race strategies.

Never mind, it was just my wishful thinking jumping the gun. The rewards are still too little in that copy of the game, as a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 '11 goes for Cr. 43,500,000

It's the Japanese version therefore using the Yen currency.

I skipped ahead and found my shame. :ouch: :dopey:

Thank you for the reply. :D

Sounds Improvements confirmed.
I'll take it! Anything is better than the stretched our notes we have now! At least the lower rpm cars sound half decent.

It does beg the question of why GT released this video... It draws attention to one of the weakest links... Unless...

Marketing department is always dissociated from the Engineering team...

Their mouth bigger than their brain...

We can change it? Where does it say that?

It does look like we'll be able to change the settings:

You want each car's RPM to raise when you shift up?
No, I want a new sound adjusted to the load as the car progressively (through the gears) goes faster with more emphasis on the exhaust over the mechanical engine noise.

As well as a repositioning of the audio so it's not based on pov location... Or simply a hood can that uses the same sample as the rear cam. (Cockpit could share it also with a bit of dampening).

But I've just regurgitated what anyone else would say...

Pro tip: I've heard that if you crank your bass, that the exhaust note will get more predominant. resampling might be a quick fix as my system doesn't have a wide base range... And so many are using tv speakers.

You leave that guy in the commercial alone! :sly:
I have nothing against that guy... my comments was in regards to the marketing department for playing with our minds...

Sounds are not improved... or is it improved as that guy doing a cover for a V8 ?

anyways, we are all on the same page.
