I don't mind, but from reading clearly a lot of people feel against it.

I really don't mind it either. Doesn't seem like that much of a big deal to me. But I guess it's almost religion to some regarding what car they buy first.

Minor thing but I found it pretty cool (pretty sure it wasn't in GT5)

When playing in Manual and jumping to Reverse, it counts as a gear, so you cant just hit the accelerator and go again! You will continue to reverse until you change to first.

👍 This makes me happy.

Not came out of the Abarth for the past 3 hours, haha.

Call him "Abarthe"

Hey classic, quick questions:

When you are in a race, and you hit the start button, you oviously get to the pause menu

1) Is there anything new here?
2) when you go to the display adjustment sub-menu and you leave it, would it go back to the pause menu?
3) or would it just let you resume the race ? ( i hated it thatin GT5!!!!!! ) because i when uou leave a submenu, i expect logically that they put us back to the main pause menu before resumeing the race...

Would anyone agree? Thats one of my pet peaves i hope PDfixed.

Awesome! They're really cool dogs, very chill but ready to run whenever you say go.

Thanks haha, he's a little monster right now looking for things to destroy xD.

His name's Chino.

He named him Gary Wyatt. Hes 8 weeks old just got vaccinated.

Triangle jumps you into the reverse gear, you then need to shift 'up' to get out of it.

@CTznOfTime
1)Resume, Restart, Quick Options, Leave
2) Quick options puts you into the main pause menu, doesn't automatically start up the race

So i can sleep well tonight and rest easy until i get the game!

It's always best when you have more options. I was actually considering starting with the Fit so it didn't bother me much, but with the standards more easily available, I bet a lot of people were already planing to start with their much older GT first cars... I'm not affected by PDs arbitrariness but I'm against anything that limits player options

That is awesome, it always bugged me that GT never fixed that.

Too bad, I'd rather the triangle did something else and R would be just another gear, so you'd have to shift down. For some cars that would be more realistic, for some others, much less... But still, for me that's a big improvement there...

Holy cow!!! What? More info please.

The mechanic and Taku were chatting while Taku was doing a hot lap. Taku explained the customising of online room settings. The mechanic says thats great. So, people can do a spec miata series and set the gear ratios, power, etc. so everyone have those settings. My feed dropped right at that point. :irked:

Not sure if you knew already, but according to the japanese online GT6 manual (which is already live), to unlock the Open Lobby function (online) users are required to obtain the A Licence first:
http://www.gran-turismo.com/jp/gt6/manual/#!/online/openlobby

キャリアモードで「国内A級ライセンス」を取得すると、オンラインのオープンロビーがプレイ可能になります
Google Translate
Once you have a "domestic A-class license" in the career mode, open lobby of the online will be playable

I'm sorry if people are complaining that they have to play some of the career to go online then they're missing the point in the game they just bought.

Is there a summary of what Taku Imasaki said during the Andretti livestream video thing?

I've been trying to post the most important points that he has made. Click through the last couple of pages to see what a typed.

Drifting competitions have remained the same.

I agree.

But it doesn't make up for the fact that, even though I have enough credits, my first car can't be an El Camino.

Well, I support the first car being a small car. I think it should be limited to Cr. 20,000.00 or so, which wouldn't get you your El Camino (which would make for a great choice, btw). Still, being able to chose a car within limits is much better than having a car forced upon you

Awesome. Thank you. Good news indeed.
