I never ever thought the day would come when I consider quitting GT ... Considered yes. But is it going to happen, NO. Only because I think there's no better game (over all) out there. Since almost a year ago it has been the only game I play.
When there are some problems (bound to be with any project) here and there, most people brush it off even though it would leave a stain. How big of a stain differs from one person to the other. It would piss any fan/player off to walk around all day with clothes full of stains. You could wash off one or two, but when it gets out of control, it get ugly and ridiculous.
But what I did today was going on foot into an automated car wash to get the GT stains out of my clothes and start fresh. Yes, I did get dried off by bikini girls
... Because that's the only choice I have as I mentioned in the beginning.

In GTP I talked in numerous posts about some of what was discussed in the recent Kaz interview with GTP, so I'm not going to repeat myself. So lets start with this from the interview:
GTP: As you know, people discovered ways to modify the game data in GT5, and it became a very popular thing. Did you learn anything from that, in terms of how people were customizing their cars? Has it had any impact to your view on game design moving forward?
“We knew from GT1 that players and users have a strong need and desire to modify their cars, and it was just kind of a re-confirmation of that fact, and in GT6, we’ll have a lot more car customization options for the game.
“I was even thinking about providing something like a ‘Pro’ version of Gran Turismo, like a ‘Gran Turismo Pro’, so that you can really get into detail with the car customization process.”
Ok, either I didn't get the question right, or Kaz didn't and Jordan let it slide. Did Jordan mean hacked cars with insane HP ? Or the hacked cars that jump up in the air ? Or hacked cars with F1 chassis ? .. Is adding 50,000 HP is what Jordan meant by customizing, or was there something else new in GT5 hacking ?

The idea of a Pro version of the game, NO, plz .. Make the game itself a Pro-game. One version, the Pro version. For example, make the 'Full Custom' suspension a real custom suspension. Don't go make a proper game and an 'Arcade-ish' game. 1 version, the Pro version.

GTP: From the outside, it appears that Polyphony Digital has kept a very small, tight production team, while the games have grown in massive complexity. Is there a reason you like to keep the company limited in size?
“The people who develop Gran Turismo are really all like family. We still have people working on GT6 who also worked on GT1. I think that’s one of the strengths of Polyphony Digital, that we have those people.
“Even with the cars, we still don’t outsource any of the modeling with the cars, and that’s just how we do it and I think that’s what leads to the uniqueness of the game.”
This is like saying GM or Ford having the staff of Spyker. It doesn't work, can't work and will not work. It could work if you PD only release a game every 5 years. It took 5 years to come up with GT5 and barely made it. It wasn't even complete. With GT7 Kaz said a year or two after GT6, when players get bored of GT6, or something close to that. I'm saying start on GT7 only after you (PD) give us a years worth of monthly updates, work on them properly. After that year, start working on GT7 for 5 years. So that's 6-7 years to make us a proper and hopefully a full game. It's either that, or double your staff and maybe you can make the 'a year or two after GT6' deadline.
