While maxpontiac's decryption of the riddle seems really accurate, the fact a Sony excutive hinted GT6 being on the PS3 still leaves me skeptical.

The makers of DriveClub said in an interview that they don't think they're in the same category as GT is. They're looking more into the direction of somewhere in between arcade and simulation. GT is definitely heading to simulation. Therefore this might hint as both games on the same platform in 2014. But this is pure speculation.
Furthermore I think Sony showed off DriveClub to make sure that at least one racer is ready for a PS4 launch since GT5 was far away from ready when the PS3 launched.
Michael Denny was quoted saying GT6 would be on PS3 and I believe this is a fact. The question for me is more: will it also be on PS4 and/or Vita or not?!

Doubt it since PS4 isn't using the Cell Architecture anymore. Could take weeks, if not months, for the game to be ported over to PS4.

To say "no one will be disappointed" better mean that Gran Turismo 6 will be on PSX, N64, PS2, Dream Cast, Xbox 360/720 Wii, Wii U, PC, lol

On a serious note, I have a hunch that if both consoles don't see GT6, then PS4 might get a Prologue....but I'm not sure if that is a real treat. Not a big fan of the prologues.

When it comes to Gran Turismo, in Amar212... I trust.
The Sony executive saying that GT6 on the PS3 means one or two things to me..
1 - GT6 will launch on the PS3 as well as the PS4.
2 - Classic misdirection.
Amar has stated at Neogaf, that since that cryptic message, that past rumors and speculations after it have been contradicting each other to the point that he's confused himself. So at this point, I don't think he knows for sure anymore on which console it'll be on. He also mentioned that cross gen is far-fetched, but not entirely impossible.
In short, it's an old message and a lot of things have happened since then. I don't think we can rely on it anymore like we had with the "wind" post.

And what makes you think GT6 would come out before the PS4 is launched in December? Remember we've yet to see even a single screenshot...it took PD years between first announcing GT5 and the actual release date, i wouldn't hold my breath, if PD sticks to their slow as hell content producing timetable then it will be 2014 at the earliest, and definitely on PS4.

I did wrote that months ago and backthen I was certain about what I am saying. Few months ago (in March) some new info started to appear.
I can't comment on anything ATM, hope all of you understand. We will get an official reveal of all future GT plans in 5 days.

I never said not to trust Amar or anything. I trust him as much as anyone. I'm just saying that if the author is unsure at this point, then we might as well be unsure too.

No. For three reasons.
One. The pictures linked below. None of the new track shots look anything other than PS3 quality.
Two. A Senior Vice President said it's on the PS3 and this has never been retracted. At. All. By. Anybody.

Three. If it is announced on the 15th of May then it would be released by November/December 2013. Given Kaz saying he's not going to talk about it until it's ready for release. That means PS3 as they wouldn't announce a game now that won't be available for at least a year on a PS4, and no, don't say launch title. PD and Launch title =

Oh yeah and for you. Get GRID 2, I heard its coming out this month. You won't be disappointed despite there not having any cockpit view anymore.

I think it'll be on ps3, but still. there is no reason for it not to do well if a PS4 launch title.
I'm very cautious when it comes to buying games, ps3 has gt sure, but all in all PS has the stuff i like. So no call of duty or whatever will make me buy a ps4, a GT6.. yea, i'd save money for that. And I honestly need other stuff more, I'm a student with bills to pay. I don't have a racing wheel, and most guys here probably are more interested in cars and racing then I'll ever be. but look at how big GT is! it's so wide in ages and amongst different people around the world. It's class, and ps has always been about class, good hardware that lasts, design that works for all ages. Looking forward to next week.
