I'm sure if it realeases for PS3 this close to the PS4 being launched it will be on both.

I can't imagine GTAV not being on PS4 as well as PS3, at this moment we can all say with confidence that GTAV will be out before GT6.

And with the market share of it being on two consoles it could only sell more copies this way.

The thing is, though, both are plausible. But I see you heavily favoring the PS4 over the PS3, and for good reasons. But damn, I wouldn't mix emotions with speculation. It's never a good reaction.👍

I've learned since GT5 to remain poised. I mean, it is fun to make leaps and bounds in your mind about a game's future, but it's a road that leads to sore disappointment.

I agree, Silverstone DLC plus perhaps a big update with other free goodies, so GT5 Spec III. They might even repackage the game again as well... GT5 "The Final Edition"...

...then give us fans a speculation break and just throw us some news on what their plan with Playstation 4 is... they gotta do something with the new system early on this time.

GT6 would be a huge download. I think I would rather have the option to purchase it on disc. Even though it is a 25 mile drive to the shop it would still be quicker than the download not to mention the fact that should the drive fail you would have to download it again where with the disc you could just pop it in the drive.

I have a huge doubt...Will PD implement for the very first time ever dedicated servers for online?

I mean everyone talks about features, cars, tracks...we all know we are going to see a huge amount of everything...but I never play online because F2P is awful for racing games.
The lag generated by using this method (cars moving everywhere and such) makes the game-play way too distracting for me.

If PD goes for dedicated servers I´ll start to think seriously about joining leagues and stuff. (like in rFactor1/2 or iRacing)

Here is my translation of what Amar212 stated and how it ties into May 15th

1 - GT6 will skip the PS3.
2 - GT6 will be released on the PS4.
3 - Fans will ask about GT5.
4 - They will ask for more content.

5 - Gran Turismo fans knew to much
6 - About GT4 and GT5.
7 - GT6 information will be scarce
8 - Until the reveal at 5.15 and at E3.

9 - GT6 will be announced on May 15th and revealed in June
10 - 6 months later it will release.
11 - GT5 will receive some DLC (Silverstone) in the form of GTA DLC.
12 - PS4 owners will be joyful over the excellence of GT6.

This is what I believe we will see next week and of course at E3.

GT6 for PS4's launch would be one more reason to buy the PS4 early. Unfortunately my brain says GT6 is for PS3...

I think verses 5-8 from the poem refer to Kaz saying in an interview that he does not want to discuss GT6 a long time before its release since he discussed GT5 very early and fans kept waiting and waiting for a looooong time for its release.

I still think that releasing it in the PS4 could be the "best" choice regarding of what "happened" with GT5...all the "flaws", patches and so on. A lot of them related to hardware and maybe some bad decisions while talking about how design the game. (which features include and all...they wanted to put too much content and fail to deliver in lot of areas with features that felt unfinished/unpolished enough)

But the sales they can get by putting it in the PS3...a console that almost every PS user has, can be much higher than putting it in the newer unreleased console which no one knows how good sales is going to have yet.

The "wise" thing could be doing a PS3 version alone or a PS3/4 version. Not everyone has the money to buy the console, not everyone wants to have it yet.
The game could be a good reason to buy a PS4 yes, but still too much money to spend in one day when you can buy just the game alone for 60 bucks/euros.

Of course in one console or the other, the "quality" is going to differ. The jump from one console to the other will be very noticeable graphically speaking at least. On PS3 the game will be great if it looks a little bit more polished and if comes with tons of missing features and finished ones.

The truth is that we don´t know...we are again guessing. 6 more days guys.

I agree. That's why my mind says PS3: sheer user base. PS4 might be a year away for most regions until the early adopters get their hands on. PS3 has already about 9-10 million GT5 players, but PD is hungry for more RAM/graphics and new technologies. Ergo: GT6 on PS3 will earn the money for a GT7P or a GT6+ on PS4 in late 2014.
