That is so damn funky! Think about it, an epic overrated mountain track, a Huayra and physics that actually look like fun..! Dayum, cutting through the night chasing that horrible Citroen that looks like a shoe, sweeeet. GT6! pls
How in the hell of it does the GT concept look like a shoe?!?!!??!!??!?!?!

Are you saying the 86 "racing" '13 is the same as the one you linked?
If it was the RC like I said before it would say RC and have black bumpers. I can't be 100% sure it's the TR86 as PD my have created this car or its a model I'm not aware of. Clearly I'm not an 86 expert.

Are we saying that all 200 cars in FM5 are new? If that's the case, gt6 is nowhere near that.
No, I'm saying the number of cars new to GT6 is well over 100, yet Forza 5 has only 200 cars total and I'm sure they are not all new to the series. So while GT6 has 100+ new cars and 1,000+ old cars, Forza 5 only has 200 cars total. Even if GT6 doesn't have every single players wishlist car, it certainly is not lacking in car content (even if you eliminate the duplicates) or new car content. Nevermind the new physics, lighting, rendering engine, coffee breaks and whatever else is unlocked as we progress through the game. Does the career mode appear to be pathetic again? Sure. But saying there's no new content is a bit wrong.

If it was the car you linked to, wouldn't the price be higher and wouldn't the PP be higher as well compared to the standard gt 86?

All 86 cars have the same power and going off GT5 performance point system, changing suspension never changed the PP so this wouldn't change. The price however is debatable, even thought it has a cage and racing suspension it is missing other parts the GT86 has possibly making it cheaper.

I'm not sure that's even true with all the duplicates and standard to premium converts being counted as new.
There's around 150 new premium cars, even if a third of them are simply updated from standard or duplicates that's still nearly 100 all-new cars. (Though I'll admit the NASCARS are a bit of a stretch to consider "new".)

That car has a stripped interior, roll cage, exhaust. Surely those affect PP and price. The only reason I'm not saying flat out that you're wrong is because in the video, it looks like there is possibly a roll cage in that car or it could be the a/b pillar that is white for some reason.

edit:
the tr86 costs $78,000 aus where the normal car is 30,000. Also only 20 of them will be made.

120-ish. Admittedly there's a handful of surprises in the full dealership video that's made the rounds, but as most of them are based off existing models (LFA NE), they're hardly "new". Considering actual dupes and near-dupes, the number's in the double digits.

One of the many confusing configurations and names that PD add into GT. We may never know.

EDIT: Or maybe here is the answer. http://www.brz-club.com/forum/showt...-a-Toyota-86-Prepped-for-One-Make-Race-Series

OMG...During night there is no reflection at all, you can't even see your own headlights reflected on the other cars oO

When the day comes and the headlights turns off, it's like the AI cars go from mat paint to reflected/regular paint... :(

The AI cars don't have functional headlights... :(
Exactly!!! We only can see the ilumination of our headlights!!!

Id like to see the interior of the Nurb Edition on GT6. If the carbon fiber treatment is replicated in game it should be quite different. Doors might be all carbon, seats all alcantara (optional), center console trim in carbon. Hopefully PD didnt take a short cut and just redo a regular LFA with the aero parts and wheels.

Conceded. But don't forget to add in 20+ GT Viaion cars and promised monthly DLC. Considering they say it takes 6 months to create a premium car I think that expecting more than 20-30 all new cars is a bit unrealistic. I think what they've done by creating slight variations of models, giving us base models of race cars, and making a lot of the old cars look better will go a long way to compensate for their lack of car modeling personnel. Sure, I could come up with 20 or more cars just off the top of my head that I'd like to see in the game but there are more than enough new cars to keep me occupied for quite a while, or at least until the first batches of DLC hit.

I'm sure they did their best to get as many new cars in the game as time and licensing rights would allow. We get the new Vette, new Viper, loads of new Ferraris, new BRZ/86GT race cars, new GT3 cars, new open cockpit/wheel cars....I'd say they checked off some pretty important boxes, hopefully with more to come. But I will admit that they make poor use of these fine cars in career mode. I can think of loads of things they could have done to make the core game better and won't pretend to not be disappointed with what I've seen. Thankfully they give us enough freedom to create our own fun with our friends. 👍

I can't put my finger on it, but the Alfa 155 looks a bit better than in GT5 to me for some reason. I don't know whether it's a placebo effect or what.

That Alfa looks better, I hope all race/rally standard cars are improved like this 👍

I for one am quite happy with the improved headlights in the night bathurst video. You can look where you are driving and illuminates in a realistic matter. I agree there are flaws but I'm sure they are because the PS3 can't handle many reflections from different lighting sources.:dopey:

They can make a car in a week or so given they have all the scans/pictures/CAD data.
6 months = about 1000 man hours, doesn't it?
Whenever they say months or any time period I automatically think man hours. Whether that's right or wrong, well...yeah.
