Well it's taking a long time. Hundreds if not thousands of people are complaning about things in GT5, that are still in GT6 today. Fix the fans' issues, THEN add stuff *like driving on the moon and watching the team crew stadngin around your car before the race...*

* sarcasm, alot of people have trouble reading it

People are riffing on the whole lunar exploration thing, forgetting that it's really just one car and one "track" (I really doubt they modelled the entire moon, because that would be ridiculous). It's one of those offbeat-but-slightly-cool car and track combos that seem to characterise the entire franchise. You're not suddenly going to gain an E30 M3 and ten upgraded Standard cars by expelling these two things.

As for the team standing around the car, that's just using 3D assets they've had lying around from GT5. All those people and equipment, they were used in the pit garage scene on the GT menu screen. Dotting them around the pit lane, placing the cars and adding the cameras probably took all of three hours, maybe less. They probably didn't even need to reanimate the people.

They don't. Not even close. Not for a long time.
Who makes better tv's ? Samsug hahaha..both Samsung iv had have had the HDMI ports either not recognize certain surround sound systems, or blatantly not work, i also own two vizios. my brothers has broken HDMI ports and mine as a glitch .4k tv's are the best tvs Sony invented them!
Sony is positioning itself to be a prime subscription based entertainment and content platform based on a triad of consoles, ultra high-def displays and mobile devices. All other "traditional" devices are vapor. If they succeed, they will return to their former glory. TBH Sony needs to split its film and it gaming into a different company. There gaming division is whats holding them up.. there film division is whats destroying them..

I though, oh no an electric hill climb vehicle, maybe a bad sound and rather slow, but then i found this:

Rather the opposite of what i expected. Hopefully we get all of the gopro views aswell :)

I let my cat sit in my lap when I watched this and he turned into a mountain lion... not really (obviously) he did watch the video on his own, though I think it was mostly the sound that made him look over

Yeah sure they are they make the best tv's and headphones in the market.

Hahahahahaha, maybe for you weak brain, hhahaha.

It's just stupid.

Panasonic, Toshiba, etc. you name it. Oh wait, you can't. Sony only has aot of features, just like Samsung and LG. But don't perform.

Just because they have 4K doesn't mean they're the best. Do you even know what 4K is? It's the resolution, not quality. Bigger isn't always better. Especially not at current budgets and distances from sofa to TV.

I can totally see Sony going bankrupt in the next 2-3 years. PD will be independent after that.
They definitely have their best days behind them. Sony have always been more of a hardware company than a software one. Trouble is, they now live in a world where consumer electronics is completely software driven.

I think bankruptcy is stretching it a little, but they need to do some serious reinventing.

They still have revenues of over 7 billion dollars a year, so it's not all bad...

The moon thing? It all boils down to personal taste. For every person who absolutely despises that it's there and insist the whole thing be replaced by their favourite car, there will be another who doesn't mind it and another who couldn't be more thrilled to drive a Lunar Rover on the moon and experience what only Armstrong and Aldrin could do before.

Yeah. It has nothing to do with a driving simulator. They have NASA training programs and simulators for that.

Yeah. It has nothing to do with a driving simulator. They have NASA training programs and simulators for that.

And who's allowed into those training programs and simulators? Even if they were open to the general public they wouldn't have the same exposure as if the Rover and the Moon were included in one of the world's biggest racing franchises.

Why exactly are you against it, if I may ask?

That's your opinion. Sennheiser are the standard headphones used in radio and recording studios. Panasonic and Samsung have the highest rated displays. Just because SONY jacks their prices up by a few hundred dollars for a similarly equipped unit does not mean it's the best.

Yeah, there's a program, that simulates space walks, moon/mars missions and Lunar Rover missions.

I don't know... It's so pointless. Even though it LOOKS ****ing awesome, better than any other NASA simulator I've "played". I love space and everything that has to do with it. But it has no addition whatsoever to Gran Turismo. They could've put more effort in issues and improvements fans are sceaming about since GT5, istead, they ignore them/us and add driving on the moon...

Yes, I'v used them at school and at the Columbia space center. There pretty lame and have ps2 era "visuals" .

Still a simulator. Simulators often don't look like the real deal or any good at all for that matter. They only SIMULATE the correct conditions and "gameplay".

As I've said earlier, the Lunar Rover and the Moon are really only one car and one track. How much development time is going to be saved by omitting one spartan exploration vehicle, one plain, rather featureless landscape, two space suits and a few cones?

Also you're forgetting that Polyphony has a history for such eccentricity. The Daimler Motor Carriage and Benz Patent Motorwagen weren't exactly Gran Turismo territory. That didn't stop a whole bunch of people trying to lap the Nürburgring in either of those.
