From what we've seen so far of most of the tracks in GT6 the grandstands are empty so crowd noise and airhorns might be a little weird.
Not sure why the lack of people in the environments - if it's just an early build thing or a performance issue. Then again Matterhorn has people in it.

The assets for the people might be in production when the build for GTA and everything was made. I would be surprised if they are empty today.

Hi I don't know if this video has been posted before, but I have only just come across it on youtube after watching the video of the person driving at Suzuka. The video is a pre-alpha build for Gran Turismo 6 and was uploaded 11 months ago.

Items immediately apparent from the video are as follows:-

Pagani Zonda - different liveries to GT5
Gumpert Apollo racing cars
24 Nascars racing on track
New shape Audi A4 DTM race cars - possibly racing on Hockenheim?
LMP cars
Classic open wheeled race cars - F1 1960's & 1970's?

Link removed as it's not GT6

These videos make me mad as nobody seems to know how to use a wheel but at least they are testing the engine under load with all the smoke and dust and it looks good so far

If GT6 gets ice racing then this guy will have a head-start in getting the tail out at least!

How does he manage to do this on a STRAIGHT?!
He drove the turns better than the straights!

He might have a talent for certain wintersports though...

Maybe it's possible that we could select the number of cars to race against this time. I don't recall being able to do that in GT5, but I wish I could. I would love to have a duel race or something like that.

We had more in GT5 :grumpy:

(Yeah it took a while to remember...)

Hmm. Yes we did had more in GT5. My guess is there will be more cars on track in the final game. Is just with these number of cars on track in the demo, was it to test the fps?

I honestly will jump if it's like that.

Because he's not holding on to the wheel tight enough, so the FFB is taking control of the driving for him.

His driving may be influenced by damage. When I play in open lobbies, that happens to me, too. It's from GT5; alignment/wheel damage.

All these guys at TGS drive like I would with a wheel :P

I've never driven with a wheel before :( Only DS3 (and very good at it).

Flying to Canada any time soon? :sly:

I use a wheel. I'm surprised, every time, when I see people struggling like this with a racing wheel. I find it pretty well plug-and-play, for me, whenever I play anything; Race '07/rFactor excluded, though.

iRacing, GT5, GT6 demo, etc., I'm fine with the wheel after like a quarter of a lap.

Has anyone from these forums driven at the TGS show, and noticed a difference in the physics between GT6 demo and now?

I'm adaptable to any control scheme/controller so I don't really know how I would react to a wheel.

My VM box is there mel ok ;)

The crowd patterns are different, some stands are empty, and some a full, but no crowds on the hill like in Prologue/GT5
Maybe the crowds will scale depending on the type of race and number of cars... one can only hope :)
I always find it strange to see crowds when I'm testing/time trialing...

TGS vid I posted earlier - crowd is animated, see when he crashes at 0:17, and appear to be 3D?
put in 1080p and full screen

Prologue/GT5 - static cardboard cutout crowd, mainly red and yellow tops

Not exactly something I would've confessed

Before all the driving I ever did was with a controller. Only from Christmas (technically back in October on that motion sim rig at the state fair) until now have I been driving with a wheel and it works wonders on lap times.

Well I'm not really sure how I would do with the wheel. I am adaptable though.

Got plenty of other stuff to throw 100+ bucks at. Would be nice to have one though, when I actually have someplace where it's possible to set it up.
