The Aussie PSN did some nasty throttling just before 2am for me - lasted about 20 minutes ...

I dropped from around 8000kbps 60MB/min down to around 3600kbps 27MB/min.

So prob not your connection if it varying all around the place - your original speed was closer to 40-45MB/min

Not with the Downloaded GT6 version, with the disc version yes

When changing time it logs onto the Playstation store to grab the renewed activation which is still not there. Guess I'll have to wait untill tomorrow for some GT 6 action.

It will not affect your current download at all, only thing it will affect is the download speed

Won't be a problem for him ... he said ADSL (which will be ADSL2+ here) so 10-15 MBit max in cities and he is rural so even less - probably around the 7-8Mbit he started with is the limit

So I ask myself, should I buy my second (digital) copy today when I get home from work just to get it a day early, then enter in my gamestop code later? Tempting, but no. But I will say, that this really sours my desire to pre-order a disc ever again 👎

For sure, not quite calm before the storm though. Hurricane winds just reached my area, so I'll probably have meltdown if a power outage occurs during the download. Inconvenient to say the least.

Mine took about 1hr & 20 mins to D/L on Virgin Media. Which is pretty fast for them, LOL. But been installing now for about 45 Mins and I'm only at 64%. I know its just me but the install seems to be going at a snails pace. Wish I had a faster HD on my little old PS3

Yes it's a looong install, as i said mine take 20 mins in the SSD.

I just watch it go from 55 to 56% installed in 1 min....

My PS3 has been on all night, I just woke up, I left it on, and it had downloaded over 1GB before I went to bed

Maybe I should have got the disc version - sigh

Yeah I guess the unpack and write back onto the same HD is like defragging...

That's what i did, I've picked a cheap Sandisk 64Gb, for about $60, runs quicker, quieter and cooler than the stock. Can't wait to see it working with the DL version, all the game installed in the SSD will be a plus for sure over the BR version.

I bought the digital download last week, downloaded the theme today. I see GT6 is on my Services list but I don't see any other indication I bought the game in the actual PSN Store. I have never downloaded a game before, am I go to go and just have to go to my download list at 12am or am I missing something?

Look in your download list, it should be there
