It may have been in the private forum, or been deleted or something, but one particular person caused a lot of pointless contention. I don't care enough to track it down
I think if you cared to track it down you’d see the beginning of the entire pointless contention. Sometimes people shoot themselves in the foot.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the info. Just wanna confirm that these are the correct exciters….

Thanks!
Appreciate your DM and putting faith into what has been discussed.

The timing of this is quite interesting as often in the run up to BF and Christmas I ususally get a flurry of people asking about tactile.

The reality is I have not gone away but I was not focusing on GT7 for a while and though I shared info about these new exciters that released last year and mentioned the new amp option. It gained no real traction by those reading. I understand that gtplanet is not at the forefront for tactile immersion and many of you are quite happy with what may be more standard or basic effects.

I have been working on/off regards effects for a good part of this year with the longterm goal that I would be able to release all the details regards what has become the chosen hardware components towards what I think is the ultimate budget solution and approach. All the effort put into these specific effects with hundreds of hours were made for this solution.

A goal I have had for a long time, was to come up with a solution that is affordable but takes things to another level in the immersion possibilities and offering a quality of tactile experience that is a good step up from what most will be experiencing.

At the same time, unlike many options you go out and buy. These effects will be offered freely to the community that have been specifically created and been built/tested by myself and those that have helped. It will be early in 2025 when things are completed and I will create a thread which covers it in full.

Speaking of those helping, one person does indeed deserve an applaud for keeping me at it...

A while back, out of the blue @q445187 contacted me about the previous DM and effects that were released. I did not even have PS5 connected to my new PC or had been using GT7 for quite a while. Yet his interest and early enthusiasm, encouraged me to pull my finger out and apply some of the recent ideas with effects I had been coming up with for PC titles.

I think within the period of just over a month what we have ended up with and continue to work towards is going to impress a lot of people. A few have been asking me about tactile recently and of course I then mention this hardware and approach. If indeed anyone is interested in helping to get an early access to these effects. Would like the idea in giving feedback to help tune ongoing effects development and take onboard this approach then by all means let me know.

@Mr Latte thanks for the shout out!

Guys, seriously, trust the hardware recommendations, start building slowly now for 2025! Use black Friday and that Ali link above. There is nothing on youtube for you now...

Well Im doing just fine

We know, you are happy with what you have, thats important and I think we are all over the moon for you too. :D

Unfortunately, aint no convinving you then nor likely now, that the level of immersion you are getting with the effects and settings you shared, are well, mmmmm.

Anyways, I had to take your advice though and become productive with others that actually were not so opposed to admitting they made some less than ideal choices with tactile. Also refeshingly different was that they had no problems returning/selling what they had. Then start buying what was being recommended and get this, they even would appreciate getting hours of help, with well developed effects specifically made to suit that hardware for free.

Gees it turns out I can be nice...

That’s good you took my advice. Seems you have a little bit to learn yet but you are defintely getting there.

Lifes all about learning, sharing and getting advice...
I feel so pumped!!!

Some though are just a little head strong or stubborn by nature, perhaps its the way they are and can take time before they might admit to mistakes or begin to see things differently from how they first viewed them.

Just took a step back…

Hi guys. I've been struggling to get HF8 to work with gt7 for 4 hours now. On HF8 software a can´t find GT7 game then I installed the latest Sim hub, turned off the firewall and entered Inboud Outbound rules, everything according to the video instructions, matched the IP, EVERYTHING. The Sim hub doesn't want to connect to HF8 at all. Then I installed SimHub version 8.2.0 like from the YouTube video, I installed it and when the program opens I simply can't click on anything, it stays as a frozen image with a warning about the firewall and UPD that I set. I have Windows 11 24H2 and really don't know what else to do

I ran into an issue where I thought I had everything right and it still wasn’t working. Those two numbers you type in, do not seperate them with a space. Just 957253,857463 for example not 957253, 857463.

Hope that helps.

I will try this and i will try connect ps5 and pc on hotspot on mobile phone. I tried entering Inboud and Outbound differently, each with a separate port number, for example Outbound port gt7 33739 and Outbound port gt77 33740. it still won't work

I remember that maybe ps5 has released a patch with which it is impossible to connect these things

I can’t help with wifi. I had another network cable ran to my room so my PS5 and Laptop are direct into my router. I fought with it for over an hour, why won’t this work!

Eliminated the space between both port numbers and voila I was in action. I could be wrong but I believe GT7 always says I need to connect , some red writing down below, it might turn green once I enter a track and get in a car. So make sure you’re not sitting in GT world map waiting for it to connect. Go to a track and sit in the pits or something.

I'm excited to finally share my new sim rig setup with you all! After a month of collecting parts, I've assembled the following components: GT Omega Titan, Logitech G Pro wheel/pedals, two BST-1 bass shakers (one under the seat and one under each pedal), powered by a Nobosound 50x2 amplifier, and Simagic P-HPR Neo's for the pedals (3). The picture shows my initial setup before adding some additional accessories. Simhub is up and running smoothly, but I'm struggling to achieve desirable haptics.

While I appreciate the vibrational feedback from the sim rig, I find it lacking in terms of translating into a realistic sensory experience - such as feeling sideways or hitting the abs. Despite trying various settings suggested online, I haven't been able to pinpoint an optimal configuration that resonates with me.

I'd love to hear any suggestions or advice on how to improve my haptic feedback. Have you encountered similar issues, and if so, what worked for you? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck. Try to enjoy what you have too, most people don’t even have a wheel and rig. Haha
