Might be a regional thing here at home, but Ive been so up/down with sickness this past 4-6 weeks with various flu/colds and lacking energy. Really sick on Boxing Day with a new vomiting bug too...
Hoping others and your loved ones, are having a better Christmas and wish you well towards New Years.
Apologies to some if responses have been slow or not much coms.
Between the tiredness and also working on my own build Ive not had as much time recently.
@q445187 how well has the dual mono central units been working for you?
Do you find it important to get a well balanced volume in this sensitive region, so they do not feel distracting/annoying?
Cabling:
One of the potential challenges, needed with this approach is working on the cable management.
Several possible options here to look more into. It might be tidier to run the cables of the shoulder and side units, under the ridge at the sides of the seat? Or use open slot cable trunking attached as two channels up the seat?
Also possible with some d.i.y to consider some alu profile lengths, one for left/right sides, or a 120mm wide central piece attached from the base of the seat, rising up adjanent to the back of the seat. Just potential ideas/options to channel cables towards the base of the seat and achieve a more professional look.
Maybe, just one of those things that wont bother some, but might freak others out.
Ive been buying some different cables that come with nice sheathing and banana plugs included. Makes it easier to connect to the amp and help with appearance. Also bought a load of different cable clips to try/test.
Their will be some other ideas shared in time regards cables/connecting which also make it easy if needing to move a rig around to connect/disconnect all the units from the seat. These would be included in the future guide that will be shared but just to point out, Ive been looking and will source various options/ideas.
In Jan I want to do the same with 8x units on the back to one of
these seats.
Also for my own rig, going to experiment with an additional 4x units underneath the base section off the seat. See what more can be discovered and achieved.
