I'm still waiting for Blue Moon Raceway Infield A (CW or CCW) to show up in anything. I think that's a fun layout. Would be great for Gr3 (or Gr4 I guess) IMO. To my recollection, it's never seen the light of day in a Daily Race.
Blue moon Race A or B can't remember is a nice little track also works well with the Super formulas.

Weird how some tracks never make the cut

Gosh, I'm sure someone will be able to look this up. IT did appear from time to time in GTS but I can't recall if we had it really early on in GT7 or I'm confusing it with a late GTS daily.

I'm amazed they bothered porting Northern Isle.

Nice idea, but... the main issues seem to be:

- The result would only be available some time after the race has finished, i.e. it wouldn't help in cases where incorrect penalties unfairly alter the outcome.

- Assuming the average race involves 15 people racing for 15 minutes, with 3 incidents, and further assuming the process of downloading a replay, checking an incident and sending a vote takes 15 people 5 minutes each, this would mean that around 50% of the time in GT7 would be spent on jury duty, rather than racing. (At the same time, watching replays would be around 10x more lucrative than racing!)

- To get 15 votes, you would have to send the replay to at least 50 people.
I agree with that and it's not an immediate solution but eventually we can weed out the dirty drivers. If they continue they'll end up at the bottom with like minded drivers.

My guess is that people will use this as a credit farming method and will just make a choice without looking at the video, and do this as many times as possible.
But they won't get the extra credits for a unanimous decision. I put the credits in as an incentive to vote properly.

@Talon16 I'm sure that I remember the same Blue Moon race you're thinking of. I definitely have memories of racing around there a handful of times on GTS, never on GT7

Just a casual reminder for any Silvia drivers at Bahurst, this tidy livery is available here

I'm no artist obviously but I thought this one turned out pretty nice and pro looking.

Enjoy if you use

GT7 is the first of the GTs I've played online. I don't believe it's ever been picked on GT7 (but it did take me a while to even start playing online in GT7). If it indeed hasn't, it's been 14 months... come on PD! Easy way to have something new/different.

Sorry to be putting a downer on this game. But its still broken in the lobby's. Getting sick of the cars going side to side on track. And as a streamer it's very off putting. Latency issues either cos they have switched from letting the servers do the syncing to the consoles now in charge. And cos of the different speeds of the ps4,ps4 pro and ps5! The slower consoles can't keep up and add Latency to the whole works. Needs working out ASAP.

Daily A… why on earth did PD include some of those cars? I’d say 8/10 of those cars not quick enough..
Supra RZ - too slow by the looks of it. Someone in the lobby started P3 and got mugged by everyone at the start. They lost slip and quit.
GTR R34 - tried this in TT, and again slow. Few MPHs off the quick car
RE Amemiya - someone used this in the lobby and they just about held onto the back of the pack
Viper, Corvette, GTR R35 - not seen anyone use this.
Aventador & Huayra - think they can just compete from what I seen
Mercedes & Bugatti - look like the car to use.

Daily B - I’m struggling on the brakes with one. No matter what car I pick getting the car stopped at times is awful. Hard tyres feel awful too

Daily C - Just finding no pace at all. The mountain section I’m finding it difficult on the brakes, and find the back end just wants to swap on me.

Feels a bit off a boring week of dailys.

Well Infield A is a good shout, works well in gr3 too. Had a fun GTS race there in manufacturer series, back when Citroen used to be decent.

trying to think who Race A appeals to, and i'm just very confused. if i was trying to guess, they think it will make for cool race photos or something? if no one can make their cars look unique, though, i don't see how that would be much fun. maybe they finally have someone working there who will tune the cars for sport mode, and this was an experiment? that doesn't make much sense either, but i'm really hoping theres something besides a Random Number Generator choosing these races. i've only run race a's since last summer and i feel like 1/10 combinations reflect actual thought from the producers.

it is just such a bummer, especially after tinkering with lobby settings the last few weeks when i do play. its wild how easy it is to find weight/power/tire combinations where i can put 10 cars within a second of each other, yet they can't even correctly balance the race cars for ranked modes.

I have returned after a 3-4 month hiatus because I had some real life commitments to be done but now I'm back for daily racing but only for a month.

For this week I think I'm gonna spend my time doing Race A because I like the variety of cars given to us as options. I did 2 or 3 sessions only because I didn't have much time but I enjoyed all of them.

First session (feat. @D_Dragline): This was my first so I'm going in blind without knowing the strategy where one would keep the NOS unused until the last corner so they can build up a gap or get closer enough for a chance at a win. Since I didn't know this I ended up using my NOS and depleting it before going to the last corner hence I ended up finishing P4.

Second session: Used the Aventador SV next and it was chaotic. One dude decided to do the big one on the first corner and I ended up finishing P9. Glad the DR/SR ratings aren't affected on this.

Third session: Next up I used the R34 and surprisingly I'm impressed with this car's capability with the R92CP engine swap. At this point I know now the strategy so I used that and I was able to get my first win for the week.

Overall I'm gonna like this daily because since the DR/SR ratings aren't affected on this race, it gives me less to no worry about choosing different cars like the R34 and Aventador SV. Also the R34 has NOS on.

No nitrous on any of the cars I've used (Aventador, Corvette, RX-7, Viper), and I'd be surprised if these was on any of them.

Also here's @ChazDraycott's video :D

During the race in the Huayra there’s nitrous available, not in qualifying though. 🍻 I thought it was kinda strange that you didn’t mention it in your article but now it makes sense. 🍻

Enjoying Race A, it's just a quick blast of something different with some super speedway-esque strategy to think about.

Good to see qualifying is largely irrelevant as someone who is on medication with drowsiness as a side effect, it's not the experience needed

I think it's no nitrous for qualifying but all cars have it in the race.
Haven't tried the Huayra yet, but also whut? I've raced all four cars in my post (and finished fourth in one of them) early on today...

From Tidney's vid a few posts up in the thread.

He is in the Chiron and there is clearly nitrous available.

@Famine is your user GTP_Famine? Think I was just racing you in Daily A just then? I was in the GTR R34 who got taken out for no reason on the straight.

What is it with people trying to take others out on the straight? I was going through the middle of two cars, a clear gap to get through but for what ever reason one of the cars just drove straight into the side of me

I drove the RE Amemiya first and that definitely didn't have nitrous when I used it.

One of them is, but I can't remember which account I'm using right now, so probably

I was in a Huayra (which did have nitrous), and certainly an R34 got obliterated by that dick in the Chiron.

They did Blue Moon last year with VW Golfs I seem to remember

Yep that was me! 🤣🤣

My bad I assumed you wrote the

Article.
I just meant that I thought it was weird that the use of nitrous was not mentioned because it is always well detailed. It would make sense it wasn’t mentioned if the writer hadn’t experienced yet in their race is all. 🍻

Yep, that's me, and yep super, super-odd. I know the RX-7 didn't have it because I was pressing the R1 button to make it go faster (just not on the final corner, because that car does NOT like the banking on Comfort Softs) hoping it had DRS or Nitrous or something.

After the repeat Super Formula cock-up last week, I'm never doing early races ever again.

Instead of Route X there should be one of the 4 existing rally... and route X should have a 4 km variant to tune the cars.

Daily A is hilarious there's always a big one on the first banking. Looks like the AMG is the way to go.

Edit: quali time 151st in the world that'll never happen again.

Edit 2: oh yeah don't forget to do two quali laps in the session. You enter the second lap with a higher entry speed you can knock up to a second off.

t's easier to go back two Kms and in the tunnel you're at the same speed as you were in the first return.
