Would find the X2019 race (conceptually) more engaging if they hadn't made the FFB for that car so absurdly light.
Don't think it could feel any less thrilling to drive when I get less resistance from the wheel than I do from a bit of belly button fluff I'm blowing off my fingers. Feels absolutely awful to drive.
I literally came here to ask about this. I haven't played GT7 with my T300RS for quite some time and because I love The Green Hell I decided to do a couple of races C yesterday. And even though I'm reasonably quick, the car is not enjoyable to drive at all. When I go quickly the FFB feels okay-ish but in the slower corners there is almost no FFB at all and the wheel is absurdly light. So that's how it's supposed to be? I seriously thought it was a bug. Well, I guess I'm going back to the controller and the wheel goes back in the corner. Shame.

Not it's not a bug, since an early update for some reason the black box that PD is decided to really hit the torque values for the FFB I suspect it was because someone somewhere insisted on using max torque and couldn't hold the wheel and hurt themselves etc.

You can max everything and adjust it car to car to dial in the weight you'd expect but that is a ball ache. I'm using DD and even maxing everything the cars feel servo assisted you'd think they were in City Parking mode, yet the GR1 R92 at High Speed Ring a couple of weeks ago would shake the rig and the fillings from my teeth. Just an odd state of FFB tuning at PD

I ran a few practice laps for Kyoto and failed to set a new time so I went in with no improvement.

I start P9 and have a good start avoiding the spins and such to find myself in P5 after 3 laps. I mess up the R35 turn (second last hairpin) and can't recover and fall to P13. A driver messes up in the final chicane on the last lap and I finish P12. All my fault as I "got in the marbles" trying to avoid contact going 2 wide through there.

My next race also has me in P9 and I also get to P5 after 2 laps. I was driving very timidly and was caught and passed to fall to P6 where I finish. I ran most of that race all alone so nothing too exciting.

At this point I see if I can't get a new quick time and get to a 1:35.7XX. That works for me so I go for one more race. In the wait for it to start, I get the time down to a 1:35.2XX. I wasn't even trying when I did it.

For my final race I start P8 and have a great race the entire time. I find myself in P6 and I'm having a great fight with P5. I could not get by them clean no matter what I did. I had a few fantastic runs in the esses, but I'm not trying a pass there. I overshoot the final chicane on the final lap and they get away and that's fine as it was some intense racing from the both of us.

Hi everyone, my brake's pedal has miraculously stopped "joking" and I'm back in the business. I start to think that it was a software's issue rather than an hardware's one, as Glen pointed out regarding its "sensitivity". I've basically done nothing; just left it in peace till Tuesday, when I switched on the game again since Friday. Few laps at Kyoto with my BMW got me an 1:34.5, which can go easely down to 1:33.5. Like in the last Kyoto event with Gr.4, I can keep up (+/- 1 tenth) with Tidgney till the first esses, then I start to mess up. My only problem is that my back in pain has other intentions this week rather than stay sit in the sim-rig. Btw, let me say, like many have already, that Nordschleife with the RBX19 is total nonsense.
Enjoy your racing week guys.

I had the lead up until the mini carrousel when [name deleted] bumps me hard from behind and takes lead and I'm struggling with minor damage that slows me down. At end of race he tells me "rubbin' is racing" well that nascar krap doesn't belong here. So bonkers mad I forgot to save replay.
(Sorry for rant)

Alt account, 13 entrants, only 2 set qual times. Apparently there are lots of drivers who are even worse than I. One driver passed me several times and then spun out and crashed in front of me. I finally got past him and stayed there. DR points finally pushed me up to DR C.

Bring back the Le Mans race C!

After nearly reaching the heady heights of DR A there, after a week of Spa, and two days racing at Kyoto, I'm now on the verge of dropping to DR C....

I forgot that both of these tracks encourage the sneaky slide up your inside on the corners (even if you've got your wheels over the kerb!) pushing you wide or even off track.

Actually, I'm blaming my drop off in performance on the USAF, who start bringing in F15s and F35s to Lakenheath, and Stratotankers into Mildenhall, every afternoon at the same time as I start racing - at 2000 feet or less above my chimney they make the whole house shake. I wouldn't feel the feedback on my wheel even if I had any 😆

Thankfully they've usually finished by 8pm.

We must live fairly local (vaguely) as I'm on the flight line for Mildenhall and Lakenheath the KC135's are noisy but those F15E's and F35' make a hell of a racket if they take the low approach!!!

20 miles West of Lakenheath - we're only under the flightpath when the wind is from the East, which it has been a lot recently!

If you want to hear a real racket, go over to the viewing area on Quick Climb Friday - nearly blows the fuse in my hearing aids 😂. If all else fails, watch the videos on YouTube, full volume!

I'm just between Cambridge and Peterborough (St Ives) I used to go on the bases regularly as my dad was in the USAF.

Back on topic, I think the SR and DR dials are turned up to 11 again this week!

Waterbeach me, so not far at all.

DR is the only one I've been suffering with this week, SR has been no problem! I haven't seen too many red SRs, probably because of my original post re people pushing others wide, with no likelihood of a penalty for that.

Ah, the "A10's snarled up again at Milton" route.

Local knowledge then - yes, the A10 between Waterbeach and Milton is a nightmare first thing in the morning! Only going to get worse as the village of 2500 homes gets swollen by the 9000 they're building on the old RAF base here! ☹️

I only work in castle hill and go the back way in some mornings, although now the 1307 is a local road it's a breeze on the days I go to the office!

Well well, my local office before I retired was in Castle Park!

What a small world - or (GT) Planet....
