Not sure sure where this comes from but believe race B is Suzuka on mediums, 3 weeks worth came out at once?

Unless they changed it?

Not exactly looking forward to gr3 Suzuka which I’ll assume it is, but let’s see

Still some weekend racing to be had at DF first

Same here just thought I was missing something which is not out of the realms of possibility 🤣

Quick observation on the Race B quali times. Started the week with the lambo being meta, then the Veyron took the top spot, then last night the G70 had taken the top dozen or so places. Don’t recall a similar situation before, nice to see other cars being competitive. I’ve had an excellent week in the upper reaches of B in the G70 and Veyron, thanks to setups found on here (less good when the As start getting mixed in!). I’ve found the Veyron slightly quicker, but Genesis easier to control and more consistent.

I expect the top G70 times are using a similar setup to what was posted here by @newmedia_dev, but would love to be able to see it (and copy it if different 😬)!

Been having great battles with the GTR, uglyAlfa, 4C, NSX, G70, WRX and Veyron so far. While not perfect, it does imply that the BoP is a bit more balanced than we give credit for. Could also argue it highlights the importance of finding/nailing-down a decent tune, especially if you're in tougher lobbies.

I've stuck with the Huracan because I just started using it last week. It's all new to me and I'm kinda likin' it, lol!

And speaking of @newmedia_dev maybe you need to fire-up the boiler on that old PS4, we're having fun over here (New Years eve run):

Since starting daily races this past summer I think I have raced Suzuka 2-3 times and was gr2. All nsx fields but it was an absolute blast, some of the best long lasting close quarter races I’ve had! I’ve had numerous races there clustered together with 4-5 people for a few laps bumper to bumper.

Having no real long term knowledge of PD patterns, would they stick with a 3-4th same class event at Suzuka in a row? I know they are not the most creative with the dailies. It’s fine by me though. Fantastic circuit for gr3 too.

I've got hold of a top 10 times setting for the G70 and it's not massively different to the one I had - mostly suspension settings. My diff ones were pretty good.

It's still used for the main TV for Media stuff (although sky now has all the apps straight in the receiver box now so is redundant) I might well give it ago but man I can't do those loading times for very long 🤣

Awesome race mate, love how you held on to 2nd on the first and third lap, titanic!! 😁
Complex string does not exist in GT7
Sorry bro but you totally lost me as I have no idea what complex string is

Oh I’m sorry it’s a track from GT3 aspec. It was quite interesting. Really a lot of fun to drive! I’m old.
It's basically the Nurbergring/Nordschlife designed by current racing rules "make it safe with no 2 corners the same and loads of run off areas but it must have every type of corner" 🤣

I'm sure there was a challenge for it as well or maybe a coffee time thing?

On the contrary, sorry man, i actually just googled it and that’s insane 🤣

Had you said midfield raceway, apricot hill, R246 I might have got it

Bit slow on the uptake today 🤣

I’m just imagining the puntorama that would have been not to mention the gotmaxpower vids flying through the air on the last parts! 😁

I was gifted a win at Deep Forest the race is worth watching and I've uploaded videos from both VR (which is what I drive and QT in exclusively now)

And the bumper cam version as well.

The highlights are Lap 1 T1 and lap 5 T1 where 3 people get murdered/suicide

Enjoy and skip to the fun bits but the race was good, I caught someone on lap 2 with my rejoin so had to drop back a few places but cleanly passed them later in the lap (3 I think)

Let me know what you think (like and subscribe 🤣)

I seems like PD has increased penalties at Monza, and for good reason.
This one however is more questionable than yesterdays.
They were doling out quite a few, large penalties this morning.
I slowed all the way down to 1st gear because I knew it was going to be carnage, still got 5 seconds... 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think you were a little to close to the carnage and probably could have dropped back a fraction more, looking at it now you could see it was all unfolding in front of you and you unfortunately got to close to it and delivered the killer blow.

Look at my video above Lap 1 going in to the tunnel similar incident but I tried to stay back further than you did and also braked before impact (I thought he would have ghosted that sideways but...)

Hi everyone. Didn't have much time to race or read this thread. But since a few days I started driving daily race B.

Started with the Lambo, but I got too much heat with everyone sticking their noses in everywhere at the curvy infield section. So many crashes... Put me down into the shadow realms of SR B. Decided to switch to the Veyron because it's more tanky. I normally don't like that, but now I keep it on the road more often and see the Lambo's flying off. Managed a win from 5th place! And also a 3rd place from 5th place. Both with stock setup, because..

Only last night I discovered you can tune the cars. Picked up a Veyron tune someone shared in this thread. This made for an even better driving car. Shaved 0.25 seconds off my quali time. Picked up a 2nd place tonight.

A lobby just ended where it all went wrong for me. I was minding my own business at P4 or P5 somewhere. At the T1 approach 2 guys in front of me bashed eachother out. I wanted to avoid a crash, but by doing this I ended in the barrier. That got me a 26.5 seconds (!!!) penalty. I never saw this before. Is this normal? I saved the replay just in case. After this there wasn't any point in racing (I was last with a 7 sec gap to the car in front) so I parked in into the pits, and while doing so I even gained SR at the end of the race... then why was this penalty so harsh?

Sounds like just what @Tidgney is after,

Not that you're an idiot, he also wants to see replays where you've got "A dodgy Penalty?"

I did see something like that once before, also at Deep Forest reverse. It wasn't me, but someone else in the race went into the first hairpin stupidly fast, straight through the runoff into the barriers at high speed, and came away with a 20 or 30 something second penalty.

Yesterday's Monza races were pretty brutal, so, um... let's do some more! 😅

Spent a dozen or so laps chipping away at my Race C QT, netting a 1:49.557 in the NSX Gr.3.

Race 1: Started P6. Barely finished P5 (by 0.030 seconds).

Race 2: Started P10. Braking into Ascari on Lap 1, I bonked a BMW, a Vette bonked me into the dirt, and I collected a 2.0 second penalty. Finished P12.

Race 3: Started P9. Almost pulled off a last gasp move at Parabolica. Finished P3.

full

Race 4: Started P14. Made up places, but my solo spin coming out of Ascari on Lap 7 ruined everything. Finished P15 (last, after a DNF).

Race 5: Started P7. Avoided accidents and kept up with the lead GT-R. Came out of the pits to start the final lap just behind them. Finished P2.

Race 6: Started P7. Had a nice back-and-forth with a Vette. Barely came out of the pits ahead of them on the last lap, and built a small gap. Finished P4.

Today was pretty fun! I'm normally a Gr.4 guy, but something about this race kept me coming back. When I wasn't driving like my name or getting beaned, I actually did pretty well! Two podiums! 😬

Ya, I think you are right, I guess knowing that it was going to happen was only half of the task...

I might just do Daily Race A next week at Trial Mountain instead of this week's offering. I just have a bad feeling about trying to race at Tokyo Expressway East when the cars have over 900 HP.

I'm going to go VERY VERY tin foil hat here.

Just did a race where I'm very low A/S on my US account. P2 is A+/S

At the start with my foot not even on the brake watch what happened until the moment he passed me.....

We finished 1-2 with me .7 behind

And no pedal glitch or phantom presses etc my minimum tolerance is set to carry my resting weight but my foot wasn't even on the pedal.

This looks very calculated and deliberate I have to say and I'm 6,000 online dalies in now so kinda of have a feel for when things are off, I couldn't see this input happening in VR as you can't see pedal inputs it's only when I went back and watched the replay as I couldn't understand how he was so quick off the mark at the start.

Great to see you in a few races this afternoon - it's still a bit of a lottery isn't it!
You too buddy, I have to say usually I find it better than this, was very dirty today, I think I had too much racing this week, maybe the same for a lot of folk, because they clearly didn’t hold back 🤣

I really really love to drive the Veyron around Deep Forest. If your exit out of the last little tunnel is correct you can go completely flat out through the fast turns, despite it's 1650 kg's weight.

Too bad there's some dirty drivers, but most people just want to drive and are 'just' aggressive in passing. Only to be expected in SR B lobbies. I have a hard time fixing that this week. Had quite some drives for the podium places without too much shenanigans, but I'm still only just SR A.

My DR level is still high B though, I'd expected it to drop more to the mid DR B regions, but maybe I'm not doing too bad.

Yes, the last race we were in together I was making good progress, until I got taken out by one driver (at his third attempt!). By the last lap I had got back up behind him - he then took out 2 cars in front of him, then another 3 (plus himself) just after the final tunnel.

I closed my eyes, drove through all the wreckage and finished the race 6 places ahead of where I had been a few corners earlier! 😂
