Got my time down to 1:32.5xx at the Forest today. The hairpin is still hit-or-miss and I'm still struggling at the bottom of the hill on the back straight (T9) so got plenty of work to do.

Was at a 32.6xx on the stock set-up, which is still kinda cruisin', but think what I'm running now has a bit more potential. For anyone interested (not TOO much off stock):

I'm using this tune for the G70 Gr4 for race B, its a tune someone came up with for a race in September. My qual time is in the top 2000 currently.

Finished 1st with a decent sized gap.

My setup for this week's Daily Race B if anyone wants to give it a go. Not entirely sure if the Veyron is better than the Huracan, but at the very least they should be very close in terms of pace raw pace. The Veyron is probably better for the race itself, as the high top speed makes it significantly easier to defend and overtake on the straights. I did a 1:30.9 (currently P1 in in time trial) and should be able to bring it down more if I grind it out a bit. Hope it helps :)

thx. which bb do you use for the lambo and @Doodle also for the veyron.

I had a fair race for the first time in a while with good side-by-side racing. I started in third place, was in first place for a while but then I was too cautious and was caught up and in the last lap I lost two places. But it was still a race that was really fun.

I wish everyone here a good start to 2025 and keep on racing.

Thank you. I went from 34.016 to 33.371 in just 3 laps.
Brake balance 0 seems to be the best option.

First of all, a fun screenshot from one of my Race As from last night. Myself in the Supra and the guy out front driving the meta R32 clocking a lap in the race with just 0.001 sec difference!

Peculiar series of events in this combo in the last 12 hours... I normally avoid 1-3am racing, but everyone seemed to be taking much more consideration at those dark hours than they have been this afternoon.

I got called out for ramming after my accuser responded immediately on the track for my apparent transgression by slamming me sideways into a wall on their merry way to a win. As much as I enjoy these unicorn combos, the threat to my SR is almost enough to put me off completely.

Man this deep forest is proving tough grounds, that g70 just isn’t doing it for me this week and I cannot break into the 1.32 no matter how hard I try 🤨

The huracan with the g70 tune is what I settled on 😆

Hopefully the evolution throughout the week gets me a win or two, but not looking likely so far

Hope you got some good racing where you’re at 👊

Edit. Got back to B/S and starting 5-6-7 so that’ll do for me

Try the Hurracan (or the Veyron) with @Doodle settings.

In the Veyron I ran BB rear biased but in the Lambo I run it fractionally to the front but if you are too aggressive it will slide.

A lot of the time is in tactical lifts and straight back on the power and not being too greedy at the last corner, good luck and go forth and conquer my good friend!

Edit:

It's been a long time since I made the top 10 of my own leaderboard!

Edit 2

I went back and did one more lap after a few glasses of wine and a smoke (cigarette, don't smoke people I wish I didn't!)

I'm sorry 🤣
Well, I did improve my time on Main but weirdly, I usually nail the setups but could not get it right at all this time 😂 My improved time on main was also once I reverted back to default... 😅 Got close to even getting lower than my best so many times, had optimals of 1:31:5 so many times but every time a small twitch takes place and loses me 0.3 ~ 0.4s at random 😂

Same. I had a .34 optimal at one point so I know the time is there. Running stock lambo +5 BB

Optimals vs actual (actual being the actual lap you can deliver ;) )

Seriously all joking aside a seriously fast set of times we've all managed!

Try running the lambo on the front but being more aggressive with the trail brake turn in. It may help as we all have different driving styles but the extreme BB seems to never give me the feel I want or stopping power I want.

Edit:

Yeah this starting from pole stuff and T1 is utterly pointless. Thirsty lobbies tonight, I get people are great at QT but they can't actually race and I find it EXTREMELY disappointing in A/A+ lobbies people can't brake.

There are 2 braking markers for each corner: the track furniture or where you brake and the wall of cars in front! If you are behind a car adjust your brake marker to before they brake?

Amateurs just amateurs. And this is A and A+ lobbies. Horror show.

@hardvibes nailed it...been running at 0 for best results. Plus <anything> on BB seems to send the ass on vacation if you aren't careful, lol. Glad to help when/if I can! 👍

What I can't understand is how some people manage to drive non-stop into turn 1, take out half a dozen other cars, and carry in without any penalty?

Well here is my Final race of 2024, really good monza battling in Daily Race C, qualifyied 3rd place, a dutch guy was very quick in a 458 italia, but i was leading for a few laps so thats cool, but finished a respectable 2nd place podium.

Hopefully 2025 will bring a new challenges and victories and quick hot laps!

Wishing all a Happy New year!

I overtook somebody on the brakes at Monza's turn 1, pretty boring really 😉

Only you, mate. Only you.

Did two Race Cs this morning on the alt... no Q time just dropped in while piloting the Viper. I like it around here... 5th gear has some pull. Kinda surprised to see the GTR good at Monza, but with PD pulling the strings I am not surprised. Supra is out, and GTR is in with the Genny maintaining. Where have we seen that before?

Anyway race two was pretty good. Gr3 around Monza works well, I just wish PD would add some spice. Sticker tires with higher wear forcing new tires or risk a no stop. A stop-and-go is the dumbest requirement for a race there is. No one does this in racing. Only ones who do are forced to because they got a penalty. I'd rather a no stopper than be forced to do a stop-and-go.

Anyway, props to the Brazilian in the BMW for leaving the space here. We were pretty close for a bit, trading going too deep into each of the chicanes, respectfully.

It seems a really good week for car variety in race C, the BoP is okay and the slipstream is so strong that cars you don't see too often can be dragged around and still compete.

Happy new year to everyone in Europe and Australia, it should be January 1st where you all are. Still New Year's eve over here in the U.S.

I'm going to try some qualifying laps at Race A and B. Wish me luck. The races shouldn't be that bad this week. I'll post some videos later of my runs using MT later on tonight.

@Jflijohn Are you serious? Wow, amazing...

I'd agree, and that is good to see. Even if the TT leaderboard is mostly a particular car, so long as the races are different makes that's what counts IMO. Four different makes in this one screenshot alone.

I want to say the second race I did earlier, the top five was five different manus. GTR, Viper (me), AMG 16, Vette, and Porsche; also saw AMG 20, M6, and a couple Ferraris to name a few more.

So yea, Race C isn't bad this week. Just get rid of that stop-and-go and make it a different time of day... like dawn or dusk or something. Too many races are a glare-and-flashbang-fest at high noon in this game.
