My wife is out of town so I had a 710 mile race day today, all at Le Mans. Needless to say, I saw some strange things.
Between lap 2 & 3, three of the top 4 race leaders pitted… there is no required pit in race C 🤷🏼
I had a guy bump drafting me the entire way down the Mulsanne Straight and then continue 2 more times on the way up to Indianapolis. Every time he bumped me, I moved ahead and he moved back.
The only real problem I had was that I was expecting him to punt me at Indianapolis but he never did 🤷🏼
It looks like you can blow through both chicanes without a penalty which, apparently, people were already aware of 🤷🏻♂️
I’m amazed at the vast quantity of drivers that think they can maintain qualifying speed through turn 1, lap 1 of virtually every race 🤷🏼
The funny one has been the gravel at the Mulsanne curve after the very long straight, I’ve seen some drivers try and take that corner at 200 mph 😵💫
All in a days work I guess.
