A win at Suzuka A/S lobby US - 2 passes at 130r laps 1/3 to move from 3rd to 1st in VR (apologies for the odd cough, I've turned the mic setting off now)

Great video mate, gripping race and super immersive in vr!

Well done to pull off the win, sometimes it’s great starting in 3rd and letting the leaders pave the way but you did it the hard way!

I’ve had a good break this week and watching that has got me itching to race the 155 at Suzuka

😁

I’m guilty of thinking most of the Sport mode player base is adults. Especially at the higher levels. I wonder what age the youngest A+ driver is in GT7.
In America´s top split we have two brazilians (father and son) who are both A+/S and they are regulars almost every night.
They stream their races. Dont know how old is the kid but he seems a teenager and he seems to be faster than his father who is incredibly fast.

I swear the south americans are born fast, even when they look ragged they always still seem to be fast. It's remarkable.
Argentinans have Fangio and Brazilians have Senna.
Both legends left a mark not only in those countries but also in the rest of south america.

A bit of a mixed bag of races at Suzuka tonight. I'm making a lot fewer mistakes than a couple of days ago and finding more consistency, but still prone to the odd brain fart.

Ended the night on a high and happy to get my 10th career win (even if I am still pootling around in DR B).

VR is interesting to watch as there's no HUD so very clean. You just wore them down, if you lap consistently guys in the lead often make errors. In saying that, the red car, looked terrible, all over the road, swapping ends etc but still fast. I don't get it.

Funny enough I thought the same thing, he was all over the place and the amount of sliding and really scrappy corners he was difficult to keep up with! Some of it is marginal latency as I was in a spread (Geographically) US lobby and I am playing from the UK.

Even if you have no interest in VR I'd recommend trying it as the sense of depth is mind blowing. You can't see it very well but I was a lot closer "physically" to the lead two cars, on a flat replay that perspective looks a lot further away than it is.

I just set the #1 lap time in all 3 dailies. And I won the Manufacturers cup. Go ahead and look at the leaderboard in game. The leaderboard websites are wrong ignore them. I dare you to prove me wrong at this current time of posting.

Well someone mentioned that one of the players in the worldwide top 10 on the Monza TT is 13 years old (A+ DR).
That's pretty impressive. The top times on TT events are alien fast, of course. Being A+ and actively doing Daily's would be a solid achievement by a 13 year old.
If I recall correctly, there was someone (South American, maybe) who qualified for the world finals on points, but couldn't participate due to being under 18 years old.
Not really that surprising that someone at less than 18 could be a top level driver. I mean, we have 15 to 17 year old kids that drive professionally in IMSA and win. Luca Mars and Conner Zilisch were doing events at 15. Conner driving in LMP2 and winning Daytona and Sebring at age 17 is ridiculous.

Yep, F1 too. Verstappen won his first F1 race before he had his driver's license. Granted, in Netherlands it's 18 to drive but still.
