Yet to try, but keen to give them a go!
I haven't tried them either, and probably won't - it'll be the first week in a long time that I haven't done one of the dailies....Not tried them but I do enjoy TM and love the NSX so I think ill have fun, that said need to do a bit of work on my time

I'm in Edinburgh for a few days and the office tomorrow so won't get to race properly until Friday at the earliest![]()
Flying from stanstead 🤣 more time going through security than actual flying! It's just a 2 day conference but I'm quite looking forward to it to be honest, could do with a little bit of a semi working break.Envious of your trip to Edinburgh though - I used to travel there at least once a month when I was still working (had members of my team based there!).
I used to fly from Luton - better time Easyjet flights, and, as you will know, the M11 can prove problematic!Flying from stanstead 🤣 more time going through security than actual flying! I tried the Veyron at TM and I'm not really sure it's gonna hold its meta/prime choice very long in to the week. I used to love it and it was a bit of a Glen stealth go to but at TM with the way the other cars handle now and the gearing they have it doesn't feel as competitive.
I think come the end of the week people will be in the Lambo or the NSX primarily as you can just drive them normally and they are fast in to or exiting the twisty bits. We will see, and to be fair after only 5 laps I got the big Bug 1/10th off my NSX time. Just a really understeery car that doesn't hide its bulk well.
If you getting GT7 withdrawl symptoms pop into here and book a test drive in a Gensis.Flying from stanstead 🤣 more time going through security than actual flying! It's just a 2 day conference but I'm quite looking forward to it to be honest, could do with a little bit of a semi working break.

That looks awesome, funny enough me and the wife were talking about the next car and Genesis was something different and niche in a classy way. Will pop over as I have Wednesday free!If you getting GT7 withdrawl symptoms pop into here and book a test drive in a Gensis.
Laguna isn't a good grid start to be absolutely honest.I know they can only do so much when it comes to daily races but why tease us with grid starts then take them away. This weeks daily races C at Laguna Seca would be fantastic with a grid start.
On another note, why are some ppl from certain central and South American countries sooo aggressive… idk how many times I’ve had a spotless clean overtake on someone from one of these countries and they punt me off at the next corner just cuz I passed them. Not saying it’s only ppl from there but 90% of the time I have that experience it’s someone from that area of the world.
You are having an absolute laugh? The NSX is one of the most stable cars dude, literally abuse acceleration in it 🤷♂️Quick few laps in 4 cars for Race B. I don't trust the back end of the NSX like I can the others so that's out. The Bugatti felt great but time is poor. The Nissan felt the best for sure, it tucked in better than the Lancer which had quite a bit of understeer. However, managed a 2.01.7 in the Nissan and 2.01.4 in the Lancer. I ran the Nissan first so maybe unfair comparison but will work with both cars to try and approach a 2.01 flat.
It's a very stable car but not compared to the other AWD mobiles. The Bugatti/Lancer/Nissan you can lay on the throttle from anywhere and they stick and go, the NSX will turn herself around if you get too stupid with it. I am slightly slower in the NSX exiting the last corner and out of the tunnel. You are having an absolute laugh? The NSX is one of the most stable cars dude, literally abuse acceleration in it 🤷♂️
I'd probably wreck it during a test drive. If you getting GT7 withdrawl symptoms pop into here and book a test drive in a Gensis.
Mate honestly the NSX does not turn its self round, maybe your driving style. I'll try the Lambo before I fly tomorrow, but it's your driving style not the car, and it's really really really forgiving car, you'd have to be all over exit curbs to hard and a bit ragged to unsettle it.It's a very stable car but not compared to the other AWD mobiles. Group 4 is so busted though, would love to use the Jag or the 86 for example.
I'm not saying it isn't me, I'm saying with the same style, pushing hard with just 5 laps in each car, the NSX turned around twice and the others never so much as flinched. It's whole way of making lap time is that it rotates better so this is not a surprise.Mate honestly the NSX does not turn its self round, maybe your driving style. It looks like you're more comfy on 4WD cars, but (believe me) the NSX has a hugely planted rear end. It was by far the fastest through Glen's Bus stop esses last week, where the rear end really makes the difference. It's may due probably to driving style. You just need to avoid inducing mid corner understeer while braking too late (golden rule in general, but even more valid driving RWD cars). Understeer mid corner makes you "turn the wheel" or "close it" by instinct more than required on exit (when actually you should "open it" instead), till it goes "snap oversteer".Quick few laps in 4 cars for Race B. Ok,...we can debate things. The upshot is that you described the car swapping ends (not in your quote)Turning "I don't trust the rear end on the NSX as much as I do on the others" into "Don't know how to drive them" is quite a stretch.
"Projecting my ability as something useful"? I really don't get the rubber glove treatment on my post, I made a comment about my experience driving 4 cars on a quick lunch break blast, that's all, my experience. I never recommended other members drive one car over the other. We come here and post on our efforts, it's that simple.I don't think you are yet to pick cars mate that was all. You have good races, don't need any help but just be a bit careful projecting your ability as something useful.
I'm a bit of a nerd so if I have the time I do enjoy working through 3 to 5 cars to see which on feels the best. As you said though there's comfort in knowing your old reliable work horse. For me it's the Supra in Group 3 as i rides the kerbs well and can get on the throttle with a touch more margin than most of the other fastish Group 3 cars, otherwise yeah the 911. Group 4 it tends to be the Lancer/Nissan/NSX, I never gelled with the Lambo.I've stopped trying out cars, I have a few I have much more miles in and know how they handle, such as the 911 for GR3, and GT-R in GR4. They might not be the metas anywhere, but I know how to drive them.
Boring, yes, but also a nice feeling when you start to really know your car.
👍 but we all need to frame that in our own ability envelopes. We come here and post on our efforts, it's that simple.
Curious...you mean this week specifically or are you referring to running dailies in-general? Didn't think about it until I noticed your post count. Trying to determine if you're coming from a place of 'new to online racing' or trying to determine the level ofAre people enjoying the dailies so far?
