Curious...you mean this week specifically or are you referring to running dailies in-general? Didn't think about it until I noticed your post count. Trying to determine if you're coming from a place of 'new to online racing' or trying to determine the level of suffering enjoyment on tap for this weeks offerings.😁

Haha, new to the forums, but not GT7 ;)

It's always hell, most weeks....but its a love hate thing...

I suck this week. I simply can't match the necessary pace to be near the front.

I guess I will spend my week in Race A

+5 on the BB for all the AWD cars no question, only place this can bite you is if you go all ham fisted braking into the tunnel but otherwise you need the rotation on lift. Agree the Lancer feels a bit lazy but the time is surprisingly there. It's funny as the Genesis seems competitive in races and I was gonna give it a whirl.
ok, same as me. Thanks a lot

Oh, please do use the Genesis, i do too. I am only in DR B and C (mixed grid the whole day yesterday) but still managed to be in the top 5 at the end of the race. The Bugatti doesnt seem competitive in Race. the NSX , well i am with you , when it comes to the plastic front bumper bomber. the Vantage is competitive in race as well.
the Genesis is the best in the 1st section, you just have to lift it for a half second, when you cut T1, or else you get 0,5 penalty

The Bugatti is tough in the race, they walk past you on the straight and even if you get a great slip you can barely hang on.

With the GTR, if I get it right, I am just quickly tapping the brake to enter T1 and from there full throttle to the tunnel or a sliiiiiiiiiiiight lift for the last left. I shall try the Genisis though, you have me curious.

Hello.

Daily A: Subaru Impreza STi @ Nordscheleife
Not bad, only made one race.

Daily B: Gr3 @ Dragon Trail
Nice combo, although it was made a few times.
Always a nice fun.

Daily C: Gr4 @ Watkins Glen
Another Gr4 boring combo. Last week was a Lancer Cup, this week was a NSX Cup.
I will repeat myself, but there is a way to avoid this, without tweak the BOP.
No strategy available and only hard tires again. Boring, for the longer races room.
It looks like it is not the same person setting the Gr4 races and the other rooms. It can't be, in my opinion.
As some already knows, I never drive the best/faster car that is on the worlds top 10 list.
Therefore, sometimes, I am the only one without that car. Haha.

I'm sorry, but I have to say again, PD should penalize harder, who quit races.
It is a joke how people now quit, every time they spin at any position, spin and go to last place, or if they are not at top 5 at last lap.
Only PD can do something about it, because it is a lack of fairplay and respect, to other players. Period.

Have fun,
Cheers

P.S.: I need more standing starts, please. At least we have another strategy, controlling the spin at starts (who drive without TC, as me).

So seemingly lots of race wins happening out there at the moment, 😁

Not here mind you but a spirited race and I got a little annoyed with the genesis in front of me who blocked on the way down to the last chicane but I managed to chuck it into the inside and take two of them last corner, a win won’t be far away

Got my QT down a couple hundreds but I feel there’s a 2.00.6xx in me

After a good few weeks on racing on race A, all i can say is….. This week I have mostly been eating sausages :banghead:

How on earth does a track have so many killer sausages on it, just when im thinking im getting a half decent time on this lap, a sausage jumps out on me and throws me into bucket and shovel land :)

You should a heard the language in my house for the past 45 mins, lots of sausage shouting going on with other words before it and after I can’t repeat.

best laps so far is 1:22.377 which is way off the mark for me entering an online race with, ill be lucky to get 15th on the grid with that….

Managed to do a couple of US and UK main races at B today before I go away with work.

2.00:43 and 2.00:1xx respectively is only good enough for mid pack in both regions, first race in both was annoying. Second and third races better.

All the arrows static or up so all good.

It still amazes me that people can't anticipate the daisy chain braking that has to happen, I mean it blows my bloody mind.

There is a line of cars going in to a corner and they all start braking but for some reason (lazy, stupid, hyper, excited, think they know best etc) decide that braking before the 6 cars in front already braking that they can do (barge better)

PD have to start putting some of that Sophy effort in to online standards, it's just not good enough quite frankly.

Anyways p5 in both regions and one to go.

One thing has become clear when starting from the back at Suzuka, people may have a good handle on the Super Formula when they're driving alone but boy if I don't feel in a class of my own when navigating the track with company!

Good to see you earlier 👍
It's definitely hard work with a few cars around you - I've been wiped out in a few T1 incidents and trying to get any places back is a challenge.

That one guy what on earth is he playing at, blatant blocking and side swiping, he was causing carnage in your mirror with other ppl once you’d managed to get past him. Glad you managed to pull away from him as no doubt he would caused you further pain if he was within striking distance.

I don’t get these people, do they actually believe that if they manage to stray in front of you it makes them a better driver ? If someone is on my bumper after half a lap, its clear they are quicker than me and i need to let them over take me, then ill tag back in behind them and get them to drag me along or at the very least ill learn something from them as they pull away from me.

Everytime... everytime. Trial Mountain one of the better ones as there's a fast T1 and a tough sequence before the heavy braking but somewhere like Seaside .... thoughts and prayers.

I legit think a good number of people have their brake marker and that is all she wrote, no allowance for the early race build up at the first big stop. YOu need to pull up around 50m early most of the time. The worst was Barcelona in the F3500....,....... utter bedlam.

You don't need markers or points (sic not at you)

You either have 1 of two talents. You can and have lightning fast braking reactions with control or you just lift and brake a bit earlier for safety reasons.

I'd imagine 99% of people believe they are in the 1% and they are not.

We live, we learn, we love, we go away from life and GT for a few days.

I will give that a shot.

I've got myself a decent time in Race C but I need to stay out of trouble and work on my consistency. DR is taking a beating.

How are you guys running the GT-R gr.4 breaking balance? They made the G70 feeling heavier than before. And i have 2 nice looking GT-R´s. To me , the Lancer is also not a nice ride at TM. You think you got this corner really go oh oooohhh *hit the wall because of unpredictable understeer.
For now I go +5 around the entire course, but there might be some to gain on some corners to go down to neutral, need more laps to figure it out.

Giving a bit counter steer throttle helps very much when doing +5.
