I've had fun this week!

The Peugeot is the dominant car since PD broke the BoP but with the strong slipstream and tyre wear you can have some fun going against it. Some races have had as many as 15 RCZ's on the grid but I've also seen good players in the Huracan and AMG being able to hold their own too.

And whoever designed that final hairpin should be fired, the amount of carnage that has caused every race is ridiculous.

Awesome, and great use of the rear view mirror lol

Driving master class 👍😁

Some bloody good races today 👌👌👌 Really enjoyed it. I got taken out in a couple but nothing malicious, just bad luck. Really enjoyed DF this week, I tried the NSX in 1 race, it's good on the brakes but just has not got the legs. Another 3 wins in the bag 🏆🏆🏆

Current daily race A world record

Happy Easter everyone!

Awesome super record mate, and great lap. I saw every bit of it. And I hope you guys have a calm relaxing Easter. Enjoy your chocolate bunnies, easter eggs and have plenty of fun racing out there in Sport mode. I'll be back soon, I promise...

Honestly I don't care if I miss the Deep Forest races, it got boring for me after a year and a half. So it won't hurt me at all. My family comes first. Keep sending prayers for my mom, she's going to have her 4th round of chemotherapy on Thursday, the 24th.

So after returning back from the caravan Friday and having an absolute mare - Saturday and Sunday have been great racing, apart from the obvious first lap chaos here and there, race distance has been good and the ability is there to catch the leaders, won’t say it’ll get me into race C 😉 but it’s been good

Got a few wins and the best including a win from 3rd where 4 of us finished within 8 tenths summed it up,

Tension 🤣

Roll on next week, hope you all enjoyed your racing exploits

Race A is probably worth a go this week I think, generally the slower the car the more fun Eiger is as a track I find.

Edit: Never mind, the rolling start for it is awful.

Good start to the week. I am very slow though, 2:29.6 in the Aston, 3 seconds off the pace 🙈🙈 must watch some replays. It's a cool track though

Edit:
Got my time down to a 29.1 with the Viper and more to give. It is the most stable of the 4 cars I have tried so far. The Aston is very skittish over the kerbs

It’s nice to see a mixture of cars for a change! Hope that continues through the week and no meta emerges.

Hey guys, hope you're having a pleasant Easter holiday. Race C this week seems like the combo I was speaking about last week. And here we have one of my favourite Gr.4 engine sound as meta (or almost meta, don't really care); the Aston. The long layout is new to me, but I like it even more, without the triple esses. So magically the track is almost "penalties free". Thanks PD, that's one of the best combos I remember in months. 👏
Starting from 2:27.555 for now, having still a lot of work to do in the Miyabi side of the track. I'll be happy to be within 1 sec from aliens at the end of the week.
Looking at the different choices, I only can wish for everyone a nice and funny racing week.

I think that aesthetics aside, it’s a splendid idea to have a relatively modestly-powered car at Eiger Nordwand. In contrast, I think having the Honda RA272 there for that one Nations Cup race was kinda pushing it.
Agreed. The car fits the track nicely, at least in the twisty sectors. But they should have put some kind of wallriding penalty onto the long right-hander.

100% the weekly challenge special event this week is 205 GTis and they suit it perfectly IMO “warm hatches” doing mountain switch backs gets my nod every time.

So having been away for Easter jumped straight back in to the rig the wife may have commented on this with swear words…

B is a fun track but the sprint layout in GR3 feels a little “tight” so happy with an early 1.26:7

C looks to be a whole load of fun to be honest. I almost wish they had gone FF instead of FR but it’s all much of a muchness I guess.

2.27:5 which seems to be on or around the pace.

Maybe one or two races tonight but I’m knackered and family film night and early to bed is in order for today. Think I’m in the office tomorrow and Wednesday so this week will see a lot less QT and racing sadly :(

Edit:

@sturk0167 the NSX was my beast slayer here last time round!

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races: Fantastic Four

A fresh set of Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races is now available, offering up the chance for players to boost their Driver Rating (or otherwise) ahead of the upcoming official Nations Cup qualifiers...
Just an observation, the Giulia has never been available in Legend dealership, as it is a UCD car

Easy know it's a bank holiday today in uk/Ireland. Very sweaty lobbies so I gave up while I still had some semblance of Dr/Sr 🤣🤣 Thought I would be clever and try the US account, got a few wins in B and then it too got very messy so I am calling it quits for the day. My QT times are very poor ,i am struggling to figure out why I am so bad as it's something I am usually quite good at. May concentrate on that this evening 👍 Love the track layout of C, it's a proper mix of corners and very tricky in parts, fair play to PD for using it

Just pondering life and the nature of the universe and I actually do think some level of care goes in to these dailies sometimes.

Interesting extended race track, controllable cars, something a bit new but safe. Going to be controversial here but RH/RM with fuel would have made this something epic….

Or we can have 18 min QTs for Manu races at Sardegna :/

Just wanted to reply to this so you can never, ever, ever take it back... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

j/k and I welcome it as much as you do. I can't go play yet because I am at work. While thankful for a job, I'd be a much happier human right now if independently wealthy and playing GT instead.😁

EDIT
To me, Race C stands-out as an acknowledgement of the imbalance between AWD and everything else in Gr.4. Didn't Audi cause some IMSA rule changes back around 90/91 for this reason????
