...Less than a month left from E3. Yay. :indiff:

Right now I wanna know more about Fallout 4 and No Man's Sky. Oh and FF15 too. The others...not really.

I got a feeling GT7 won't show up on Sony E3 presentation, but I do have half a mind to expect some closed-door beta behind the scenes.

We'll see.

At this point guys unless there is anything credible (and not just some people thinking they'll be there), don't expect GT7 at E3. Its not happening. We had two people who have connections both say that they don't expect GT7 at E3, can't really get anymore clear then that. GT7 might be happening, but its not coming to E3.

It's more likely to see GT6 Spec 2.0 at this E3! Maybe PDI can show some early footage of GT7 but it won't be sold until late 2016

If they show anything GT-related I would expect to finally here something about this FIA partnership. The announcement was pretty big and it should arrive in "spring 2015" IIRC but we still have no concrete information. And before people go even crazier, some info about the course maker. But I think (after what Jordan/Amar said) GT7 is unrealistic, maybe at Tokio gameshow in autumn

I'm not even one these insiders and I can tell you it'll all be about the PS4 for Sony so no one will care about the PS3 and thus, not one bit about GT6.

Just face it, anything even slightly pertaining to GT showing up at E3 will be a surprise otherwise, its again not happening.

They should at least show something pertaining to GT at E3. With all of the new racing games that have been announced and released recently, many people have probably forgotten that GT is still a thing.

After Jordan and amar posts about E3, I havent any hope for it. :(
But we'll see Gran Turismo Experience! A tech demo to show Morpheus power! :D

I dont really want or see the need for any information about the new game(trailer or otherwise) to be shown at E3 unless the game is actually on track to releasing by xmas this year.

When making announcements for old IP I like the approach of: here is the game we worked on, here is the trailer which also shows the release date as less than 6 months away and we will spend the rest of this time doing final testing and releasing tidbits of unreleased features aka building the hype machine.

Just wanted to say this, maybe its just to reassure my hope we'll see GT7 at E3. . .
Since the initial PS4 announcement in Feb 2013, Driveclub has been the only driving game theyve been showcasing at every major event since then. Now that Evolution Studios has been downsized and its been stated their new mandate is to make Driveclub into a "service" (continual DLC), it rules out a sequel.(imho)
With that said . . . its going to be kinda bare at Sonys conference if the racing genre isnt going to be there.
Thats why I believe we're going to see something GT7 related. Well, Im still hoping we do lol.

Oh please dont have the NFS reboot at the Sony conference . . .

If they dont show anything at E3, even if its just a concept video with 'coming 2016', then I will be very worried.

Turn 10 is about to unveil Xbox One's THIRD Forza game.

Here to hoping all the GT insiders are saying it wont be at E3 to surprise everyone when it does show up

I am not sure Forza5 swayed people. Forza6 might be better with day/night weather etc. But Iexpect something at E3 regarding GT or at worst sometime this year. Most games are rushed these days. GT takes it time but just too ambitious. They need to balance it out :)

Forza 5 was the fastest selling racing game in Xbox history a little over 2 months after launch.

It's funny.

We criticized - rightly - that PoDi announced GT5, 3-4 years before its release. Since Gran Turismo PSP, they announce their game just a few months before, with only concrete information.

Today we want the opposite. And this is very bad.

The delay Uncharted 4, announced two years ago, has been strongly criticized by players.

I support PoDi in their approach. As long as their game isn't ready, they should not announced.

Marketing.

Forza 5: about 2 millions.
Forza Horizon 2: less than 1 million

Sales down in each episode.

Do you have a link to those official sales figures? Down from what? You realize Forza 5 launched when the console launched right?

Exactly, people are getting confused throwing 2017 release predictions out there because PD doesn't commmunicate with their fans as they once did. I applaud their withholding of any information, just because I don't see the point in engaging in the 'community' where people throw wild comments out there immediately, whether speculative or emotionally based with propositions and mild threats of what the game 'better have'.

I feel that in this age of hyper social mediaism there is a serious downside to getting all interactive with fans. All PD (or any studio) needs to do is have a couple guys constantly scouring these great GTPlanet forums for ideas.. that's it. It's up to them what they would like to take from it and add to their game.

I would like to see GT7 & Morpheus announcement/demonstration.
Can't think of a bigger or better Sony franchise title to showcase the technology for 2016 release.

GT's history as a flagship title is also unique in certain ways.
It shows how the franchise has been utilised by Sony to further-sell promote other Sony technology

I recall a pointless but early tech display of 4K Projection demonstration utilising 4x PS3
Game support for upto 5x multiple screens
Licensed steering wheels DF-GT / T500RS
Playstation Eye support
3DTV support

At the very least.....

Past example, GT5 trailer emerged at E3 approx 18 months prior to going retail.
I will be shocked if their is no Gran Turismo 7 trailer this year at E3 even if the game is not due at the latest for a late 2016 release.

One that showcases aspects of the title a taste of new improved in-game audio.

i think this is exactly what pd is doing , the prof is Midfield

...2017 is too far. Sony brass won't let that happen. In today's gaming market, anything more than two and half year dev cycle will be seen as tardy. (MY OPINION!!)

Since the release of GT6, I've been saying holidays 2016 for GT7. Juuuust wait and see. :mischievous:

I'll be here, with a truck full of "I told ya so"...:sly:
