GT7 July 2024 Update Prediction

Do you think that the 499P is not yet in the game because PD are lazy? Or is it perhaps that it is lower down their list of priorities? You may disagree with their priorities, fair enough, but that's not really the point. It being in a mobile game is irrelevant.
I think they have a weird list of priorities.

Being in a mobile game IS relevant because shows that if a mobile game can get Ferrari do license this car, so should Poliphony Digital (there is a lot of people spewing BS that Hypercar is exclusive to the Le Mans Ultimate game, which isn't).

When goddamn Ferrari comes along saying they'll build a prototype to challenge for a overall win in Le Mans after half a century and actually manages to win first try, I guess you make room on your list, maybe leaving the 300th Civic hatch for later. Well, I certainly would, and seeing by how much this car is wanted and searched on Google related to GT, I guess so a lot of people as well.

It's been 12 months since the 499P won Le Mans. Give it three months for negotiation and nine months to model....
If we are going to get pedantic, let's go to the extreme: Ferrari announced their Hypercar program back in February 2021. The car itself was revealed to the public in October 2022. Way more than 12 months.

Just so that you're aware, this is bunk. Mobile, console, and PC platforms frequently have platform-dependent exclusive licensing. Something that is exclusively licensed to a console title may well still appear on mobile - and vice versa.

The fact that the Ferrari 499P is in Real Racing 3 is not relevant to whether the car will appear in Gran Turismo 7 or not - and none of the last half page has anything to do with predicting content for the next update.

With the precision of a monthly lottery: what quite a few of us predicted around the same time last year…

Track? (Bound to happen sooner or later)
  • Pikes Peak - Race to the clouds.
Cars? (As always)
  • Hyundai N,
  • Bentley Continental Gr3-ish.
  • one or two extras.

All, save perhaps the two extras, called on the same immediate topicality and sponsoring reasons.

I'm intrigued by the suggestions that the clue to this month's update is hidden within GT Planet articles posted this month.

Could we be getting a track which would cause spikes of attention within the community, perhaps causing excitment to peak?

Maybe these could lead to something?

Whatever your choice of Gr.3 car — and you can borrow any of them for the event, which is handy if you want to quickly test them all out — it’ll be fitted with Racing Hard tires...

...unless someone finds something remarkable — like a new “meta” car — big gains aren’t too likely.

Maybe I'm overthinking it.

And the heat begins.

Maybe I'm going crazy, but the pp of my tunes changed tonight. I finished a race with a 600pp car, then went out and back in with the same car and now it has 602pp. Several of my tunes are no longer under the limits that previously were fine..how is this possible?? I didn't even run an update.

My predictions:

• Toyota Aristo V300 Vertex Edition '00
• Toyota Probox DX '21
• Autozam AZ-1 '92
• Nissan GT-R '07
• ARTA Garaiya GT300 '08

It’s been mentioned the next cars to be added(whenever it happens) will make people happy again.

Even though we had the biggest race(Le Mans 24) of races a couple weeks ago and Pikes Peak last weekend, Spa is upon us. The Escudo is being phased out and the 300 SEL is now available. Would be sweet to get cars that represent those three events.

A Hyper car, the Hyundai collaboration cars and say a Capri, Escort or 2002(from the 1971 Spa event).

Add the Caterham and 812, which I guess would make many people happy.

I'm kind of convinced that they might be pulling an August '23 update where it gets released days before a GTWS event.

In this case should they stick to their usual update drop on Thursdays, then it'd be 2 days before the Montreal live event. Either way I can wait and whatever they got something for the next update, bring it.
