GT7 July 2024 Update Prediction

  • Corvette C5 ´97 (base model, to tune up etc.) or the Corvette C5-R
It's not like there is a shortage of showroom-condition cars to find here in the US. But I think we would get the Le Mans variants first, and I bet we get several cars in the same update, mostly because there are a few management companies who actively own, maintain, and vintage race the original cars. Those are also not hard to get ahold of, pending licensing for everybody involved.

The German brand Opel is still missing from the game. The Eiger North Face route would also have to be included in the game. In August 2023, images were shown at the Sony Creator Conference that point to the route: a picture from a helicopter and graphic models of a building and the train station.View attachment 1365757View attachment 1365758View attachment 1365759View attachment 1365760
Regarding Opel, I think one of the early-90s DTM cars we've seen in previous titles would be a great Gr.4 car, even if Opel ends up like Bugatti where both would lack a Gr.3 entry.

Somebody was saying the same year ago :D So probably no :)

Especially that there is really big chance of new track. Watkins Glen was added in June update, we have Montreal in leaked data and Montreal GT World cup soon. fingers crossed
Fingers crossed for any track be it Montreal, Motegi or other speculated tracks.......

I already provided my prediction earlier, but can I switch it to this ?

3 tracks / locations:
Montreal Jacques Villeneuve track
Pikes Peaks
Montegi
Predicting three new track locations for one single update seems bold. Evidence would appear to be against - and very firmly against - that.

Good point, even tho Montegi is probably my preferred location out of the three , but realistically I don't see it coming at this point, so Montegi should be removed from my above prediction list.

6 cars:
499P
Ionic 5 N and Pikes Peak edition
Porsche 963 LeMans
Toyota GR 010 2024 edition
BMW E39 M5
Corvette C5 Z06

For @fifaburgio and @MrHorsepower bdays
If so, PD & Kaz would be best.
The only way you would get pikes peak in gt7 would be a fictional track with moutainy theme called "pikes peak"

I think there won’t be a new track this update… if there is, it’ll probably be a ‘low effort’ type of track, like a new layout of an existing track, although I wouldn’t mind if they added the Bugatti circuit layout at Circuit de la Sarthe, or maybe one of the three karting tracks there or the Spa-Francorchamps karting track :) I’d like to be wrong though, pretty much any full blown completely new (or returning classic (please be Midfield)) would be great…

For the cars I’m thinking;
  • American classic muscle car
  • European not new but also not (too) old car, like mid 2000’s (one we probably already have a version of…)
  • Japanese kei car
  • a often requested (classic) race car, probably Japanese…

All just ‘shots in the dark’ though…

My prediction is:
  • Circuit Gilles Villeneuve - the unfortunate data leak and the upcoming world series event
  • Modern road car: Genesis GV60 Magma Concept - Due to the relationship with Hyundai and Genesis with recent announcements I think these are coming soon
  • Race car: Hyundai Ioniq 5 N Pikes Peak racer - same as above
  • Old car: Bugatti Type 37A - From the datamine and fits the old car
Edit: Also predicting a Lamborghini V10(Huracán LP 610-4 '15) engine swap into the Volvo 240 only as I've seen a video on YT with that done

I just want the wheels(dd+/logi’s) unnerfed

Full force implemented

Some work on physics, specifically how contact between cars occurs

Actual work on wheel sdk’s done.

I often find myself wondering whether gt7’s sdk has evolved much since the belt driven wheel days

Kinda lost hope for interesting cars or tracks, or vr updates.. And to be honest, it doesn’t even matter much anymore. There are plenty of cars if their personalities were reflected better with the wheels.

Don’t care about the economy, nor scapes, nor cafe menu’s. At all.

This is a prediction thread sir, you can't put your wishlist here

Let’s assume that a new track does arrive this update:

Track:
- Montreal Circuit - makes sense with the GT World Series taking place in Montreal and the fact it has been highly speculated in the past.

Cars:
  • Ferrari 812 Superfast ‘19 - datamine list and I have a feeling it’s the “already mentioned car” based on a recent Famine post.
  • Mazda RX-7 efini Type-R ‘91 - also a datamine and for plugging generational gaps, this would make sense as we don’t have an original FD RX-7 but rather the final version at the moment.
  • Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C5) ‘04 - same generational gap reason as the RX-7 and was also a premium in GT5 & GT6.
  • Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car ‘98 - iconic from previous games and would certainly be welcomed with the existing 787B and GT-One race cars present.
  • Pagani Zonda Cinque ‘09 - a somewhat left-field prediction but for the idea of debut cars, I feel this is the sort of older car that PD would add to provide a sense of slight retro and modern touch (probably least likely but why not eh?).

btw we will probably discover if there is going to be a track or not just on Wednesday with the usual trailer and not before ufffff i do not like at all this way of communication

If we are getting a Ferrari (especially on this month with Ferrari winning Le Mans) I gonna bet that we will get the 599:

A car that is present on GT HD (which I think it was the car on the box art?), Prologue, 5 and 6 (and the datamined list!). I personally prefer the 599 over any other model!

There are 6 Ferrari cars on previous games that are currently missing on GT7: California, 599, SP1, FXX, F1 2007 and F10.
We probably will never see the F1s again. Between the California/599 and any "modern" Ferrari like the 812 or 488, I'm betting on the 599.

I think that the 599 was on leaked car list.
