To me standards can stay if, big if really, the only thing "standard" would be the interiors, but the exterior appearance is modernized (like happened to some rufs)
Aren't the rufs still not up to quality of premiums?

Don't know if this has been mentioned before but does anyone else think that the car list for GT7 needs to be a lot better. We need more Supercars/Hypercars and more brand new cars.

A car without a modeled interior can never be called premium. That is the defacto standard in all high end racing games and sims and GT, the supposed leader in many ways in the driving simulation category, has 2/3 cars without interiors. Premiums also have separate body panels which would enable them to take advantage of soft body damage modeling should such a thing come to pass in GT7. A bumper can't fall off of a Ruf because the car is one giant shell. Doesn't matter much at this point, but will in the next game if they bring in more substantial damage modeling.Aren't the rufs still not up to quality of premiums?
No we do not. You can't create a better car list when you focus only on supercars, hypercars, race cars and modern street cars. Gran Turismo needs a more balanced car list of all vehicle types of all model years in order to be able to truly have a better car list.We need more Supercars/Hypercars and more brand new cars.
That, and GT needs less of these made up "concept" cars. Enough with this VGT stuff it needs a break already, because it just shows that PD needs more modelers in their studio. Plus the car list better have premiums with interiors as well. PREMIUMS KAZ and PD, not STANDARD cars...Do we do not. The things that could be done to a premium supra. That, and GT needs less of these made up "concept" cars. Also there REALLLLLY needs to be less duplicate cars. I mean so far there are updated standard cars but YET AGAIN the Miatas, the Miatas were updated over a Saleen S7, and even the Toyota Supra RZ that most loves? Why PD?

Totally agree with you there bud. 👍 Like you've mentioned above, that's how GT6 should have been. GT7 really needs something just like that, a balance between a number of cars (premiums) and customization (even with or without a livery editor). The things that could be done to a premium supra.
BTW seriously, i found hilarious that the S7 bio mentioned the GT1 variant but in game is nonexistant, the car list in gt6 seemed excessively dispersive and not treated with the same care for details as some premiums cars are.
I don't need functioning headlights, wipers or an agera to enjoy the game, i need to be able to enjoy all the cars in the same way;detailed exteriors, pleasant interiors and all the customization that gt6 has to offer (which even without a proper livery editor i found very interesting and a base to something bigger)
Fun fact about the Miatas: PD actually reused the premium model for the exterior since they're all the same on the outside, that's why they're all upgraded. That, and GT needs less of these made up "concept" cars. No, the cars in GT6 stay, just say the cars you want ADDED to GT7.Yeah, but I don't want the cars from GT6 to be thrown away.
Ah! Ok.No, the cars in GT6 stay, just say the cars you want ADDED to GT7.
Although I'm struggling to think of good cars for GT7 that arent already in GT6Ah! Ok.
If they went that way this is what I would want keptI agree, Gt7 needs a much better car list. Hell, I wouldn't mind if PD went the FM5 way, and cut a bunch of cars, but made them really detailed.

Do you think my list of 200 is good? Still WIP thoughI've been saying that for the longest, but in other threads though.
People can't imagine them cutting the number of cars cause there are so many, but bring the list back down to 300 work on the cars most really want to see.
Nothing against certain cars, but as much as I like seeing the Focus/Civic's of the world I want Lambo's/Ferrari/Pagani more so than anything, or even just 2015 Dodge Charger in the game or newer Vipers etc.
At least at 300 cars I'm more likely to use them all if given a robust career mode etc. like GT3 or GT4.
