It does, with the same press to release mechanism. I've never had it accidentally pop by resting against a chair.Does the PSVR1 have a knob or dial jutting out the back of the headband like the PSVR2? That's what worries me.

They only take the money when it shipsBecause Sony originally tried to get me to pre-order back in November....
and there is no 'offer for pre-ordering', most pre-ordered games come with incentives whereas PSVR2 was just pre-order and give us money and we'll send you the headset if we have stock in February..... or at least that was the emails I was getting from them....
I see. I didn't know that's what it was. The Challenge tends to push the head forward a bit so I hope it's not an issue with the headset. It does, with the same press to release mechanism. I've never had it accidentally pop by resting against a chair.
Fortunetly the game starts with some low powered compacts and slowly gives you more powerful cars, you're not dropping in the campaign with a Lambo.I guess the brain will build some familiarity over time and the risk of motion sickness will lowerDoesn't help. Driveclub VR was notorious for causing motion sickness, and out of the VR games I've tried it's the only one to give me full, need to lie down in the dark motion sickness.
It does make me wonder why they bothered with the online component for VR. The compromises that they'll need to make for the VR support will probably be increased in multiplayer, and the lack of players doesn't seem to be getting any better, although it does give me satisfaction knowing that the community is getting revenge for the travesty of a game GT7 is.all we need now is the game itself to be fixed & all the players to return.. its a ghost town online atm..
That's because Driveclub was very blurry graphically, with Clearer graphics most people are less prone to get sick..Doesn't help. I know what you mean, I have the same set up. If it is similar, get a cushion for your lower back, this pushes your torso forward enough so the headset doesn't bang against the chair and it's still pretty comfortableDoes the PSVR1 have a knob or dial jutting out the back of the headband like the PSVR2? That makes sense. That should work.I know what you mean, I have the same set up. If it is similar, get a cushion for your lower back, this pushes your torso forward enough so the headset doesn't bang against the chair and it's still pretty comfortable
A re-launch of GT7 for PSVR2
=requires an additional circuit

Imo because driveclub vr was blurry as hell, with sharp psvr2 res should be much better in gt7Doesn't help. Driveclub VR was notorious for causing motion sickness, and out of the VR games I've tried it's the only one to give me full, need to lie down in the dark motion sickness.
Yes but honestly I never even noticed it was here while using my Playseat Challenge and don't have my head pushed forward neither. Maybe you should try to incline it a little more 👍Does the PSVR1 have a knob or dial jutting out the back of the headband like the PSVR2? That's what worries me.
Still some players would keep complaining about the price of GT7 itself... 😅The addition of Sport mode, is an absolutely HUGE announcement. We can easily complain about the cost of the PS5/PSVR2 combo, but given how comprehensive it is, it's extremely good value.

If I remember right, in previous gens games looked markedly worse in multiplayer. Uncharted 2, Gears of War, Call of Duty 4 etc .Where does this myth come from? I already explained earlier in the thread why multiplayer demands fewer resources from the console than single player.
I didn't play all of those, but the reason Uncharted looked worse in multiplayer was because it ran at double the framerate compared to the single-player (60fps vs 30fps).If I remember right, in previous gens games looked markedly worse in multiplayer. I tried it when I bought my PSVR but wasn't convinced and felt a little sick. I couldn't tell if it was because of the controller or just because it was one of my first experiences in VR, but it feels a little weird and unnatural to play it with controller so it might be a factor. It's totally playable thought, but you'll lack immersion.Has anyone played GTS in VR with a control pad? Is it disorientating or can you get your bearings and drive well?
Of course it would be preferable to use a wheel, but I need to budget for that later. I'm interested in the immersion factor, looking around the cars, interior etc., fast times are secondary.
is there a possible GT7 PS5 + VR2 bundle by the end of the year?
That's a reasonable assumption; I do remember it being very ugly. GTS looked great in the VR car viewer and time trial mode but looked much worse even with one AI car on track. I seriously doubt GT7 VR will look that good, maybe downgraded to PS4 quality, especially since they look to have full grids and possibly day/night and weather cycles. That's because Driveclub was very blurry graphically, with Clearer graphics most people are less prone to get sick..
Have the number of online players dropped dramatically?I haven't seen any articles about thisand the lack of players doesn't seem to be getting any better
I've tried GTS in VR with controller (stick), motion controls and a wheel. With a controller, I found the motion controls to be more immersive than stick because your brain can be fooled more easily, but even then by far the coolest part of VR is the depth and scale of everything, you could probably play it with a keyboard and still be immersed. Obviously wheel is the best option for immersion but I can't imagine the DualSense with the haptics will be any worse than the DS4.Has anyone played GTS in VR with a control pad? The Pulse headsets can be used as that's what Sony's been showcasing PS VR2 with at events and stuff, though I'd imagine the earbuds included might be more comfortable? (I never liked using over the ear headphones with VR1)How about audio?
Can Sony wireless Pulse 3D headphones can be used with VR2, and if they can how comfortable will they be over the headset?
Does using the VR2 affect HDMI audio out, as Iʻve read happens when using Sony wireless headphones and low a Buttkicker.
Lastly will there be any VR1 compatibility? (doubt it but one can hope)
