GT7 Tuning Calculator - Download v3.3 all new cars added!!

Hi Hookedonturbo,

I was able to generate my first tune and tested, and received the following adjustments

With these recommendations I cannot get the desired top speed of 290km/hr needed for long straights.

I was expecting something similar to this

Do I need to manually change the gear ratios to get the desired top speed? or are any other settings that may be incorrect/need different adjustments.

Thanks,
Cesar

Hi Cesar,

Great to hear you have got your first setup from the app! Can you share screenshots of the inputs please, then I can advise on where to tweak to get the gears right.

Hi Cesar,

I don’t think the tyre size has been worked out correctly, this would cause the top speed problem. See attached figure to enter into the tyre size calculator.View attachment 1424795
Hi Hookedonturbo,

I would update the values for the tire/size calculator.

Could you please also clarify/confirm the process that should be followed (for a brand new tune)

1.- From where the initial values of the car/track settings should be taken? I use the default ones from GT7
2.- Capture default GT7 suspension settings and calculate
3.- Capture default GT7 transmission settings and ECU, then calculate
4.- Enter Pro Tune calculated gear ratios in the car/track settings to obtain new tire ratios
5.- Enter Pro Tune transmission settings and possible new ECU, then recalculate?

Thanks,
Cesar

Yes, I did follow the instructions. The first step is to select vehicle, capture weight and calculate tire size, where I use the gear ratios values present in GT7 for such car. Per your suggestion that I needed to re-calculate the tire size using the gear ratios calculated from GT Pro, that's the reason I'm asking for the correct steps, as there was already a tire size calculation in place that need to be further modified. Could it be possible that the provided gear ratios from GT7 are inaccurate, thus causing the need for recalculation?

Thanks,
Cesar

Ahh okay, sorry I have confused you. It doesn’t need to be calculated figures, it can be the stock figures…

I paid for the lite version this morning and so far I’ve had some good results, it’s transformed a few cars I thought were already decent and made some that I’d been struggling with (engine swapped ‘81 911 and the RA272) absolute dreams to drive.

Yes it will be coming soon. Only been a few days we are in the process of bringing in the new car additions. For now try using the F1500 T-A as a base and tweak.

Cool, thanks. I came back to the app recently after not using it for a while. I consider myself a fairly advanced GT7 tuner on my own, and I wanna congratulate you on the really great work you've done over all this time dialing this thing in. Really nice setups right out of the gate, for most cars.
The differential settings in particular have improved a lot (though sometimes I have to cut the accel sens by 30-50%).
Anyway, nice job.

Hello, there is a bug with the dyno screenshot feature. The generated graphs don't match 100% with the in-game dyno graph if the screenshot is 1920x1080. I'm on a PS4, and it would really help if this issue is rectified.

I'll take a look at the app and see why this isn't working for you. Does it do this for every car? Are you navigating to the ECU using the analog stick or the d-pad? Using the analog stick will cause the graph to not align properly to what the app is expecting. The d-pad will snap the view correctly though.
